Liz and Scott's May the 4th Be With Us Star Wars Wishes 05.04.16 (NEW: Rings pg.7)

I would think nude shoes would look good with that pale pink? Gold might be better than silver but I guess I would have to see it.
I really like the color of the bridesmaid dresses! They look great!

Thank you! I just love the soft pink, really inspired by the Grand Floridian, it's so pretty with all the pastels!

As for the shoes, it's so confusing. I love the image on the last page where the bride wears the bridesmaid's color and they wear hers. My dress is ivory with silver, and pearl details. Augh! Haha.

Well I found these, hopefully my maids like them. Maybe it's blasphemous, but I'm tired of shoe shopping!

If it were me, I'd pick style #1. I like style #2 as well. But for whatever reason #1 is just catching my eye more.

Love the color of the gowns! I think I'd do a gold instead of silver with the blush gowns. Silver blends I think tend to look better with purples, blues...I don't know. I guess you need to hold them up to your gown & see.
Keep your receipts because if they don't work, return them.

They like that one better too! I think this color will work since it's so mellow. My dress has so much beading and color inflections I think silver/gold will compliment the obnoxious amount of detail. I wonder if adding some silver rhinestones will offset the gold as well. So many possibilities!

Or I could allow them to wear the warm tones (pink dresses with 2 girls having pink hair, 1 red hair and 1 brown hair) and I could sport cool tones (white/silver and my hair will be platnium). Would gold/silver play be too much?

That dress detail is very similar to my bodice. I don't have the pearl but it is all silver and crystal beading.

IF I were having bridesmaids it would have been a pale pink similar to the pink of the Mickey Head balloons.

I decided to have NO gold anything. I felt gold was too much play against the silver in my dress. But that's just me.

All accessorising has been pale pink and silver and ivory. I'm having the garden clutch bouquet in pink. The groom is wearing a white rose with a pink ribbon.

The main wedding days shoes I'm wearing are from a local Australian brand but for the day 2 double park photo shoot I got a pair of ivory shoes from this brand. SUPER SUPER comfy and well made

So after a few turn of events... Namely the sticker price of our first BEO, we've decided to go with an all over Star Wars/Space themed reception. We were pretty shocked to see the steep incline in prices for entertainment/products, so we are cutting lots of the "fairy tale" elements.

Would you be willing to post your BEO or email me a copy, please?

I had forgot to pos here, but my fiancé was laid off early in January. A bit of a stressful road bump in this journey. I think I'll post the final BEO on here, but if you have questions about our initial, I'll reply to them in PMs! :)

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. Definitely understand how stressful that can be. I lost my job at the end of February last year, which was the biggest factor in us postponing our event until this year.

Everything will work out beautifully in the end. *hugs*

Holler if you need an ear!

Thank you!!

We're a bit too into the game to back out now, haha! Luckily his grandmother, our last surviving member of that generation, is giving us a generous loan. It's taken the edge off of worrying, but it's been a trying year so far!

An impromptu shoe shopping session led to at least some candidates for my shoes. My fiance tagged along and insisted on this pair, saying he likes peep-toes. He even chose some coordinating flip flops, but I decided to leave those for another day, haha.

The blue matches the color of the shoe bag and the color I painted my Bridesmaids boxes. Love Tiffany blue!
I got a great deal on them. The height isn't exactly ideal, but I could deal. Also after reading through Rachel's PJ, I'm slightly worried the rhinestones will catch on the skirting of the dress. *gasp*

Okay, one more post! Here are the dresses I've picked for the 6 little girls (one child of a friend and 5 nieces) in our wedding party. I've chosen to ask them if they'll be my faeries, and they will have ribbon wands as they walk down the aisle in a small cute mass.

The two oldest are 11 and 14, so I chose this dress as kind of a middle between a junior bridesmaid and a "flower girl." They will follow up the little ones and guide them into their seats.

Here's my inspiration for the look. I'm going for more of a dressed down look - but not exactly "rustic" since the ceremony/reception will be at the GF. I really love the headbands!

Maybe I'm a little bummed about not having any Valentine's Day plans, bigger things on the horizon and all, so I made this collage with the accessories I plan on using this May.

I haven't picked up the Swarovski Diapason necklace yet, but I plan to ask for some gift cards to Swarovski for my birthday in a couple of weeks to make that bullet easier to bite. (One can dream anyways.) Isn't it heavenly? I might be obsessing over it. Although in the end a more simple version from their Diapason line would suffice? It looks pretty for the picture.

The clutch is by Jessica McClintock and specifically chosen to match my shoes. I love ivory and white. I will use every excuse to cover myself in the color.

I finally told my maids I don't care what shoes they wear, as long as they're champagne colored.

Okay, I have major catching up to do in updating this PJ in the inspiration departments... Soooooo my floral inspiration and choices!

We wanted fresh, spring garden colors. Blush pink and sage green as the primary colors.

I know baby's breath isn't super popular with some, but I love it. Filler flower my butt, I love how tiny and dainty and magical they seem.

I love "fluffy" flowers, peonies just make me think of fairy pillows. Like Tink and her friends would take naps on them. *Is a total dork*

Here is my floral proposal, as of right now I may change the size of my bouquet and request to remove the greenery from the Maid's bouquets.

Original center pieces:

centerpiece01_zpsb4jrq9lg.jpg

From the beginning we've been planning to make our own centerpieces with our crafting backgrounds. Originally we were thinking "wishing trees" with hanging flowers, accompanied by fairy cottages. I am used to developing watercolor concept images for project proposals I've worked on, Sara, our planner loved this one.

*Insert screeching noise.*
We decided to get away from the fairy-tail look and now we are putting together ideas for Star Wars centerpieces. A Star Wars theme should've been natural for our date. Might as well go full out! Right? Right...

Just caught up! Love the colors! They are the same ones I'm looking at so I may be a little biased :flower3: And your bouquet sounds like EXACTLY what I want! Fluffy flowers really are the way to go :goodvibes Your plans look so magical and great!

Love your floral inspiration. I really wish I would have specified on the pink color I wanted. The bright pink they put in there was too pink. I love the different colors of green.

Gorgeous flower inspiration. I'm really happy with the pink garden bouquet and love the photos I've seen it used but if I could choose it I wanted peonies. It's just they aren't in season yet in February and I wasn't paying a premium for silk flowers and having a mix and match bouquet.

Swarovski had been driving me nuts as I love their necklaces but they have either been too much or too simple. I felt the one you're looking at was too much for me to pull off so I went with this one instead. But I have two cheaper backups if I change my mind on the day...

Yay!!! I love voluminous flowers, I figured it would be good for a spring morning wedding!

I LOVED your bouquet though! The green berries helped offset the pink, and the striking colors really fit the mood of Seabreeze :)

I'm lucky my wedding is in peak Spring season so peonies are fairly priced. Swarovski is evil! I'm going to pick it up before I go in to try on my dress/get it fitted, if it's too much I'll go with one of the smaller Diapasons. I love your choice, the asymmetry is neat!
