Where do you buy your park tickets from?

Hey All,
I have been doing my usual research about our upcoming trip. We have always bought our park tickets through Disney. I have been reading about UT and a couple other spots to buy tickets cheaper. What is the draw back to this? I am pretty sure we want park hopper and we are also DVC members if that helps. Thanks a ton! :earsboy:

We've been buying our tickets from UT for several years. No downside that I'm aware of.

May I suggest that you buy your tickets soon if you are sure you are going. I have not heard any rumors of an increase, but they had one near this time last year. UT has previously sold their old tickets at their original price, but they can get swamped at that time.

We have bought from UT for years and never had a bad experience.

I just bought mine from UT last night, worked great, linked it to my acct and it's all ready to go! Cheaper than wdw that's for sure

Another UT fan here. I've bought from them for 4 trips and always been happy. As a PP said, sign up for the Mousesavers newsletter to get the extra little discount.

Last visit we had planned on UT but checked out our local AAA office. They ended up being slightly cheaper so we ended up buying there.

Consider this.
UT technically is cheaper depending on how long your tickets are for. But if you are taking a short trip, consider buying target gift cards on raise.com for a discount and using them to buy Disney giftcards at Target online and get the 5% redcard discount. Use the giftcards to purchase at Disney. Check the budgetboard to get the deets on that one. If you are only buying 1-3 day tickets, you'll get the best discount that way. But if you are doing 3-4 or more days, you'll likely do best to go through UT through mousesavers

Ok so i just bought tickets from UT for us the other day... and once I connect them to MDE, Do i need my actual ticket my first day or will they be connected to my MDE and there for my magic band already?

They will be in your MDE and as long as they are linked to active MagicBands they will be ready to use without any physical ticket.

An underestimated factor in buying from third party outlets is the inability to pay with Disney gift cards. If you put in a lot of effort to get big discounts on Disney gift cards, that can frequently outpace the discounts from buying from other outlets.

So I'm looking at UT and don't get it. For a 5 day it's $322.95 vs $335.48 but if you get a discount of 5% from gift cards (Pretty sure the wholesale clubs always sell them at this price) the effective price would be $318.71

Am I missing something?
