Disney Gift Card Deals

Well I'm sure a whole lot of these Target gift cards are meant to turn into Disney gift cards, so if you have a trip planned real soon, better get them churned into Disney asap.

A good reminder. No trip planned soon but I'm trying to cash out for another $100 gift card this month from Swagbucks, so I guess I'll take another $5 from SB now put me at the right amount to order from Target!

For those that were able to grab the black friday target gift card deal on EBay, how much was the shipping?

I ordered a Charming Charlie gift card from raise. It was a $50 card and paid something like $32. My DD went and used $41 of it the other day and last night we were in there and she tried to use the remaining $9. Her previous receipt was stapled to the gift cert by the store associate and I'm sure she's not been back in to use it since. The balance showed $0. The store tried everything to get a balance and it came up $0 in all ways. The manager actually honored it and was very kind about it. However, now I'm wondering if there was a a problem with their system and it may have been down or if the gift card balance was hacked/stolen by the seller. They suggested the next time to have the remaining balance transferred onto an actual card that we can take with us but it's still in my mind. Anyone have this happen before?

I've had this happen maybe 3 times with Chipotle gift cards all from Raise. I used a portion of $50 or $100 gift cards and it came back at zero. I emailed Raise and they asked how much I used and refunded me the correct amount. The whole process took maybe 4 days to see the money credited back.

I tried ordering an eBay gift card from Target last night and it appeared to go through. I even got a virtual card shipment notification and a gift card number, but when I tried to use it, eBay said it hadn't been activated yet. I tried 3 or 4 times to use it over a three hour period, but still no luck. Then this morning, I got an email from Target saying there was a delay in shipment and that I should expect it on Nov 29th.

Has anyone else tried to buy an eBay card from Target in the last 12 hours? Were you successful or not?

Good to know they take care of it. What a pain though. I really hope it was a computer glitch. I feel bad thinking the store will be out the $9.

This has happened to me many times with gift cards from Raise .com for Target, WalMart, Panera and Applebees.
I went on the specific store's website and could see where the seller used the gift cards after I bought them! Raise .com will refund you the $ that was stolen from the gift cards. Just be sure to use the gift cards in the 100 day guarantee period.

I ordered two $25 AMC gift cards yesterday morning from cardpool. I was planning to use them to buy tickets for the Peanuts movie today. I checked and both cards have a zero balance. I emailed cardpool right away...about this time yesterday...have not heard anything back from them, even though they say allow 24 hours. I am annoyed. They really should check these cards before selling.

Don't feel bad about it, but the store is probably out the $9. It makes me sad that people are so dishonest that they would use a gift card after they have sold it. But, that's the world we live in!

Hi I got an email with my codes but didn't try to use them last night. This morning I got the email that my order was going to be delayed despite getting the codes last night. I just checked one of the codes and it's active so you should be good to go. I bet they are bombarded with orders.

We had a 200 cheesecake factory gift card from raise that we went to use a month after purchase and it had been zeroed out in 2 previous transactions. I contacted Raise and it took about a week for my refund but they refunded what I paid for it. After that I have kept to only buying gift cards that I can immediately turn around and use online. I believe the policy is that the amount is "insured" by Raise for 100 days. So absolutely don't have any money left on a gift card purchased from Raise after that point.

I bought the Charming Charlie gift card on 11/5 and she used it that same day. Last night (11/24) we went to use the remainder and it was $0 balance. I have had no problems in the past but always buy the printable ones and use the same day. I think I'll make sure to do that from now on.

I have only had Target cards zero'd out before I got them but I think I am done buying giftcards, aside from Target, from these resellers. It seems like it is becoming so much more common for people to drain the cards before you get it. Even with the 100 day guarantees it still is a hassle dealing with it all.

I purchased a $300.00 Victoria's Secret gift card from Card Cash. Tried to use it that night and it wouldn't work. I called them the next morning and was told they would file a claim. After a week went by I got an e-mail saying the card was active and had the full balance on it. By the time I checked it a few hours later it had been completely drained. I called them back and spoke to a supervisor, who was asking where I used it, basically accusing me of using the card myself. I was furious -- after almost 30 minutes they agreed to refund my money. It was a real PITA. I have never had any problems with Raise and after that experience I have decided that I only will use them going forward.

My brother had the same thing happen with an American Eagle card he purchased from Card Cash. He's not as aggressive as I am -- I am not even sure if he has even dealt with them yet.

If for some miracle ebay has the Target gift card promotion tonight can you use mutiple payment methods? I have a $100 Ebay card so can I use a credit card for the remainder of the balance?

Yes, with a small caveat. In order to use your eBay gift card, you have to log onto PayPal and apply your eBay gift card while logged onto/through PayPal. eBay will subtract the amount of your eBay gift card from the order total, and you can use whatever backup source of payment on your PayPal account (whether credit card or bank account) to cover the difference.
