I have a 1 bedroom booked in May. Can you use an elevator to get to all of them, or is there a building with 1 bedrooms that does not have elevator access?

There are a few (don't remember how many) lock outs in the other buildings but most are in the lodge or in the building connected to the lodge. If you need the elevator request to be in the lodge.

Very few of the 1 bedrooms have elevators available and I believe NONE of the 2 bedrooms have that available. It's all walk-ups. They're not horrible, but it can be a real bummer at the end of a really long day. :)

There might ber a few in the lodge area but I am not positive about that since I have only stayed in a studio there. Most of the 1bdrs are not there and have stair access only.

Ok, I have stayed in a studio and a 1 bedroom there and both times they were in the lodge. I am glad I asked, I will request the lodge.

We have stayed in wonderful 2 bedrooms with our family as well, so I know about those.

We've always booked a 1 BR at HHI. There are 21 of them, 16 of which are in the main lodge or the attached building 12. We've always requested, and gotten, the main lodge, and the elevator has always made things so convenient. When it's time to come or go, just take the elevator down to the garage and grab the luggage cart. The other 5 1 BRs are in the buildings 16, 18, 19, 28, and 30 and are 1 flight up. Like I said, we've always gotten the main lodge and never had to deal with stairs.

The one bedrooms in the lodge are great. As Simba's mom said, only 5 of the one bedrooms are not in the lodge or the building attached to the lodge. Being in the lodge makes it really easty to stop every afternoon for the amazing cranberry walnut cookies.

Our 2 favorite 1 BRs are 1137 and 1138. Actually, 1138 is our most favorite, but I know a few people don't like the condos across the water. We've seen dolphins from there, so who cares about condos?

For some reason, we've gotten 1137 on more than half of our trips, giving new meaning to the term "Welcome Home" so we like that one too. Besides, I love the bench outside the unit-

That was my view from the 1 bedroom I stayed in in December. I thought it was a pretty picture, even though I would have preferred more nature like yours.

Thanks for showing yours! Hope to meet you again at HHI!

5 one bedrooms do not have elevator access.

16 in the Lodge all have elevator access.

My faves were the 3rd floor ones for a long while until I discovered the one at the end of building 12. Now it's a toss up for me.
