Is this the best rate I'll get for CB or RPR in Feb?

Just throwing this out there for opinion.

Planning to stay at either CB or RPR Feb 9-12 (Tues, Wed, Thurs).

Using CheapTickets with a 19% code I'm looking at $102.25/night (taxes included) for CB or $201.56/night (taxes included) for RPR.

That price has been constant for about the last month.

Trying to compare to similar in the 2015 Date/Rate thread (Mid-week in Jan and Feb), it looks like I *might* be able to do better if I hold out longer?

Thoughts?

Man, how did you get that rate? I've been checking all around and one of them was CheapTickets with a 20% code and I got average of $216 per night after taxes. Pricing just a few days off from yours.

My guess is that my rate is lower because it's mid-week as opposed to having any weekend days in it.

I went Mon-Thurs in Jan this year and paid avg of $218 per night at RPR (tax included). Booked on Orbitz

Well duh on me! I'm sure that's it. I've been pricing a Thursday - Sunday.

I went ahead and grabbed an APH rate for my dates this morning. Average $210 per night. Thanks to tips here, I am pretty confident in doing the ticket upgrade from UCT to a power pass when we get there and have the APH rate honored.

Hmmmm, hoping this is a temporary glitch on cheaptickets.com, but my intended stay is showing as no longer available at CB. Odd thing is though:

- All 3 days are available if trying to book directly through Universal
- trying for two days Tuesday/Wednesday is available, so is trying for two days Wednesday/Thursday, just not Tues/Wed/Thursday all together....

Either cheaptickets.com has a specific allotment of rooms they can book and those are gone, or something is going screwy with their system since I can book for all 3 nights, just not together..... hmmmm

Go from "pretty confident" to "absolutely sure". You do not have to have the AP in hand at the time of booking to get an APH rate. We promise.

The code is on a google search. IDK if it is allowed but it is gonow19. I got a price of nearly 400 after taxes for Feb 24. OUCH!

They also publish the codes on their own site whenever they have them. If you go to cheap tickets right now you will see the promo code right at the top of the home page.

We are staying only one night, Feb 24 and I booked with Orbitz using a 10% for now 340. Ouch!!
