Speaking of stats, might as well post an update seeing as how we've had several buyers hear back about their ROFR status this week so far. Note, I've decided to post my reports with all ROFR contracts I'm tracking, not just those relevant to the web forum to which I'm posting.

Please cancel this reported sale. The seller would not take a credit card as a deposit and would not use a escrow company for the deposit. I didnt want to take the risk of sending a cashiers check to a private party with no recourse.

Yikes! Sounds like you definitely made the smart choice in pulling out!

Congratulations to all the people who have passed ROFR this week! I'm on day 12 in the ROFR process for a BLT contract and getting very antsy. My husband keeps telling me that Disney will probably take the contract and not to get my hopes up. I really hope he is wrong.

I wouldn't worry too much. Of all the contracts I now have in my database (362), only 2 BLT contracts have been ROFRed by Disney.

I have 13 VGF contracts in my data. All have passed ROFR except one that was sent on 08/24/15 and is still waiting.

Are you buying a VGF contract? I do not have your details in my data.

As a matter of fact, I do. If you're wondering why you weren't on my latest report of buyers who should hear about ROFR soon, it's because I filter that list to show buyers who have been waiting 20-40 days. You've been waiting 19. My guess is you will probably hear either next Monday or Friday.

Yes not worth the risk. I seem to attract all the crooked contractors too!

I don't know that I've ever seen a VGF taken back. Since they are still fulfilling wait lists, it is far too small a profit margin for them to buy anything back to resell it as opposed to reacquiring through foreclosures.

Sorry to answer instead of RobbW but you can just check the first page of this thread as well as the previous ROFR thread to see any BLT info. If I recall, the amounts were under $100/pt.

One was a 200-pt contract at $92/PPT sent on 12/23/14 and ROFRed on 01/20/15. That one had 0 points for 2014 and 2015.

The other was a 100-pt contract at $115/PPT sent on 01/17/15 and ROFRed 03/16/15. That one was fully loaded.

I know the per point price seems high for SSR but after watching postings for a few months on the different resale sites the trend was heading to over $89/point. We didn't want to wait any longer and this slightly loaded contract was within our price range.
