BBB or Ice Palace Boutique???

So we will be in WDW during the Frozen Summer Fun at HS YAY! And I already booked my DD to have a makeover at BBB in DTD which I'm soooo excited about! But I just saw that there's an Ice Palace Boutique that will be doing Frozen makeovers also. She loves Frozen but it seems a little bit pricey for what you get compared to BBB. We would get the $75 package at IPB which only includes the nails, makeup, hair piece, and photo and we would get the $100 package at BBB that includes the updo, makeup, nails, tshirt, sash, tote, and tutu.

Has anyone been to both and can weigh in on if the Ice Palace Boutique is worth it? I dont know whether to change my reservation to the Ice Palace or leave it! :confused3

We are going the end of the month and have reservations at both. I just can't decide which one lol! DH is trying to talk me into doing both for our girls.

I'm having the same dilemma! I'm leaning towards BBB because I'm just not sure I like the rather simple "attached a braid clip" hair styles at IPB. I'll be following everyone's reviews closely until our trip.

If I am understanding the whole Ice Palace Boutique thing, it seems like the concepts are a bit different. At IPB, the idea is to have your DD 'be' Anna or Elsa whereas at BBB the child herself is the princess/ pop star etc... (Yes, they could choose to wear a specific princess dress, but it is not necessary.) Personally, I like the 'concept' of BBB better. I am also not a fan of the whole just clip on hair thing, unless it's Halloween or something. JMO - I am sure the little girls will love either. :goodvibes

ETA - On a more practical note, I think the MK is the better location to get candid photos of your own little princess. DHS just doesn't have the princessy feel to it whereas Fantasyland is a beautiful backdrop for princess photos. There are tons of princesses in MK that will have wonderful conversations with the girls about being a princess as well. If I was paying the $, I would want the whole experience which I just don't think you can get at DHS.

I was totally thinking the same thing!! For $25 more, she will get the whole experience with all the extras as opposed just the makeup, nail polish and hair clip on piece. Decisions decisions... I think I'm gonna try to get a reservation at the castle last minute. They told me to wait until 2 weeks before and there will be cancellations :)
