Honestly I don't like to complain, but when we arrived at the BC nobody greeted us. We went to the elevator and up to the club level... I approached the desk and told them we had just arrived and had received our room # through text. I was given no welcome, no packet, no drink, zip. The kids and I went into the lounge to grab some water and as we exited I overheard a castmember ask the desk CM if the Murphy party had arrived. I said "that's us". They all gave us the deer in the headlights look and couldn't explain why we hadn't been greeted downstairs or upstairs for that matter. Just a crappy way to arrive honestly. I was already annoyed because of our room assignment and this sure didn't make me feel any better.
This morning when we left we walked right past the desks with all our luggage (obviously leaving) and 3 castmembers standing there said nothing. Not a word. When we got to the elevator I turned back to them and said "Goodbye!!" Neil was the only one to respond and said goodbye. He's a nice guy but I got the feeling there's some ******* going on between the CMs. Some sort of tension that results in guests being ignored. I could tell ten more stories but we are headed to Peter Pan so I will have to write back more later.
We arrive on a Monday so I'm hoping teena will be there. The only resort we had a frosty welcome was at cbr, all others incl off site have been great. I feel so good when the cms are friendly, it really impacts on me & I often put in a word of praise.

After a short rest we headed to MK today we had fastpasses for Space Mountain, Peter Pan, and SDMT. I texted for a 4th fastpass and we did Under the Sea. We have definitely enjoyed the texting service this week, it's a great way to get additional fastpasses without needing to go to the kiosk. It's also nice because your 4th fastpass can be at a different park. One day we were at the Studios, used our 3 fastpasses, then texted for a 4th fastpass in Epcot. Very easy and a huge time saver! :D
Ooh I didn't know you could do that. That's great info, I'm just booking our second weeks FPs.

Wow, that's a beautiful suite! I think the biggest perk would be getting to see the fireworks at all the parks!! We always fly and don't have a rental car though so the downside would be not having Disney transportation.

What a great room at Four Seasons -
must research that place !
Hope the Birthday Boy appreciates all this !

I love love and love your jewelry !

I have to ask - how much?

I looked on their site. Yikes! Erika, hope you got a great deal! Do they do room discounts like Disney? Can you put 4 in a room? We can still get 4 in the rooms in the Deluxe rooms because of a roll away. Luckily we still get along with our 2 adult kids-lots of practice being crammed in a hotel room when kiddo still played hockey!

We fly as well. I rented a car this morning from National. They came and picked us up at the GF in a shuttle and took us to the Car Care Center. It was pretty easy. :) We drove ourselves over here to the Four Seasons and now we have a car to use today, tonight, and tomorrow until our flight tomorrow night. When we check out here tomorrow morning we are going to a park. :D

Yes you can get a standard guest room here at the Four Seasons for 4 people. Two double beds or a king bed with sleeper sofa, you have your choice when you book. :) They do not offer roll-away beds at all, so if you need more than 2 beds you'd have to book a second room. They do offer guaranteed connecting rooms which is nice for people who have more than 2 children.

Standard rooms start in the $300's which I think is very reasonable for the level of service and amenities. Park view rooms are very comparable in price to Disney deluxe resorts. The suites are quite a bit more, but also comparable to Disney suites. I ran a price check between an outer building suite at the GF and it was quite a bit more than the suites here. Of course this isn't a Disney owned resort so you lose the opportunity for Magical Express. However dining can still be booked 180 days out, fastpasses 30 days out, and they operate buses to all the parks every 30 minutes daily. I think this resort would fit well for a family looking for a more upscale resort experience. :)
