Which club level for adults only weekend?

My kids are driving me crazy so I am planning an adults only trip DH and I hope to take next April. We are thinking of staying club level. I think my top contenders are Beach Club and Poly, though I would love Contemporary if it were not so much more expensive.

BC: Pros... we will likely be at Epcot every day, so it is very close to where we will spend a lot of time.

Poly: Pros... Monorail to either MK or via TTC to Epcot. Little more travel, but still very easy.

Cons? I don't know?

We would have breakfast in the lounge, and then maybe drinks and apps after an afternoon nap. I am not sure about lunch, though. Would Club level be worth it?

What do you think? Which should I talk DH into?

Beach Club definitely. We like Boardwalk too.

Just did Poly CL for the first time earlier this month and was not particularly impressed. Also, right now the monorail is in and out of service for maintenance and can't be relied upon for transportation all day every day. Not sure when that work will end.

I would second the BC, especially if you plan on spending a lot of your time at Epcot. I follow the CL thread here on the resorts board and people have been posting that BC CL has really stepped it up with the recent lounge remodel. If you haven't already, you might want to check that thread out. I hope the trip works out for you. DH and I are taking our first trip without the kids this fall and are beyond excited about having some adult Disney time!

Thank you all! We had three kids in 18 months (twins) and it has been really rough on us. Now that they are older we want a FUN trip away. We are thinking of doing 1.5 days at Universal and then 2.5 at Disney for flower and garden festival. It would be the opposite of our upcoming trip with our kids... no ADRs, no Touring Plans, just letting our whims take us. Probably FP+ for the evening so that I can do some fun rides at night time (BTMR, 7Dwarves). I was leaning towards the BC as well. For some reason Boardwalk doesn't have a lot available for our dates and is a lot more expensive.

Beach Club! As someone who takes a lot of adult trips, being able to stroll around the boardwalk area and Epcot is awesome.

I've never stayed CL before but I'd definitely go with the BC. It seems a lot of people on here like BC CL more than Poly CL. Also, if you love going to Epcot, it can't get any better than the BC. The rooms have recently been remodeled at the BC and they are gorgeous.

I just wanted to say bless you - I can't even imagine having three children in 18 months. I have twins and I know how much work that can be without a third one in the mix. My husband is also a twin. He (and his twin, obviously) were born on October 9th. His older brother was born on October 16th of the previous year. So for one week, my husband, his twin and his older brother are all the same age. I have no clue how his mother stayed sane. :scared:

Definitely BC if you plan to spend most of your time in Epcot. very convenient!

I highly recommend BWI CL for adults only. Same benefits as BC with the Epcot stroll. You are closer to DHS if you happen to want to walk there. We had a fabulous stay for adults only at BWI-CL.

For an adults only trip, I would do CL at any of the Epcot resorts. I know that DH and I would be at Epcot a lot for food and drinks, so being within walking distance would be nice.

I agree, although I'd skip Universal and just do Disney!!!! Never done club at the Beach Club, but that is the best area in all of the world.

Beach Club. That's where we always do our adults only trips. We love to eat at World Showcase!

If you are looking to avoid kids, might I suggest Yacht Club instead. It's a little less populated by the wee ones and still close to Epcot.
If you really want an adults only experience, you need to get a Garden Suite at the Boardwalk. The are secluded town house style rooms with outside entry through your own private rose garden surrounded by a white picket fence, sort of tucked in behind the main building. King beds, hot tub, fresh flowers and a quiet pool just steps from your front door. They have club level access too. That's class!! And fun too!
