Is the area on deck 12 directly above the Adult/Quiet Cove pool Adults-Only? Just to clarify this would be the area that looks down onto the adult area. Are there lounge chairs up there?

Thanks!

YEAP............above and forward of the pool...Its called Satellite Falls........a water falls....and shade covers chairs and loungers........excellent relaxing place for adults!

(I've been on the Dream and I believe they are pretty much the same) It looks down on the non-covered part of the Quiet Cove. I remember there were chairs where you could sit (with small tables) ...

I may be mistaken but I don't think you can overlook the Quiet Cove from the Satellite Falls...

You can, from the aft part of the same deck as satellite Falls and there are chairs there. However Satellite falls itself is forward and you cannot see the pool from there. That is why I put in *forward of the pool*

The Quiet Cove pool-adult only is on deck 11. The area above that deck 12 is open to anyone. On the Fantasy there is a small wading pool. On the Fantasy I know there are loung chairs:)
Satellite Falls is only on the Fantasy-adult only (will be added to the Dream at the next drydock) is located on deck 13 and it is in the very front of the ship.

I think the OP's question relates to the deck 12 area that overlooks Quiet Cove pool. As Weedy described perfectly, This area has a wading pool and is open to all ages. Deck 13 also overlooks Quiet Cove pool but is adults 18 and over only.

A BIG design flaw IMHO... not that kids don't deserve more water areas but placement detracts from the adult only atmosphere (after all kids screaming in delight as they splash IS normal and expected behavior..but not what I want to hear when relaxing in one of the few kid free zones on ship-lol )

We actually sit in that area of Deck 12 quite often and there are very rarely kids there (but they are allowed). It is a nice area for family of all ages to hang out together. I have also been in the Adult pool and have NOT heard any kid noise from above (which was my worry as well).

Weedy thanks for the informative post with pictures!

I thought the same thing. Being so close to Quiet Cove pool, it seems this area should be an adult area.
