We booked on our own 2 nights at loewes. Grateful they were able to connect this reservation to the abd so no room changing needs to occur.
Hotel is nicer than I pictured and we have great view of Hollywood sign from room. Driver waiting for us at airport very easy pick up. The only thing I am not comfortable with is the tipping. I keep the tipping everyone bc I feel cheap not too! I doubt abd gives them much. Feels very akward not to tip bc u are only family being dealt with at check in. It is not like I am standing there with a travel group etc.

Today was burger at Roosevelt's and walking around and seeing stores in mall. Tomorrow is wb tour and inside out movie to which a VIP tix is only 10 more and u get popcorn and drink and assigned seat. The line for general public tonight was nuts and they line up an hour in advance! So 10 bucks seemed worth it
 
Also had letter fr guides under door July 4th afternoon with info and phone numbers to reach them. So no worries not finding them etc.
 
Enjoy! We depart for our back-2-back in 4 days. We get into LA next Tuesday!
 


So jealous! We just got back home at 2am this morning from our amazing Backstage Magic trip. Who are your Guides?

We have been on town 48 hours and done a ton!! Haven't met the guides yet Rihanna and Lauren? Were they yours? Was the trip a lot of fun??? We hired private tour guide today abd best 380 I ever spent. We were all thru Hollywood hills, up close to Hollywood hills sign. Grey stone manor gardens, rodeo drive- she was awesome and so was our day!!! Fill me in on trip did u love it????

Trip reports needed from both of you! I know some stuff is supposed to Be a surprise but I do not like surprises! Lol!

I have kept myself in the dark for a year on this trip but I too am getting antsy to know what is around the bend. Arriving two days early here was key. Sleep hard on me normally but time zone diff has been hard !! So enjoying Hollywood on our own.

Our guides were Lauren and Christina. Tell Lauren the Downings say "hi!" Our trip was amazing. The guides were beyond wonderful and we met some really fun folks. You are going to have a great time! We are exhausted but already planning our next Adventure :moped:

Awesome to hear!! Thx I will tell Lauren that . Dh already texting her and super helpful bc he forgot extra memory card...hard to think trip hadn't even started yet but feel like I know the city. Anxious for the real vacation to start. Did U see fantasmic with guides?

Oh, you are going to have such a great time! Tell Lo (Lauren) the Millers said hi as well. Downings, my kid misses your kids. ;)
