Favorite Disney Villain Songs?

Too hard to decide! I love all the ones mentioned so far lol. Would Heffalumps and Woozles count? They do sing, but not sure that counts since they're technically a dream. That made a big impression on me as a kid, because Winnie the Pooh has always been a favorite and that song always sticks in my head. Also I love Bing Crosby singing The Headless Horseman, because it's Bing! (if that counts since he's the narrator- but it's supposed to be Brom Bones singing whom everyone knows is the HH and Ichabod's Nemesis!)

How about Mother Knows Best from Tangled?

"Hellfire!" sung by Claude Frollo (voiced by Tony Jay), is definitely my favorite Disney villain song. Mostly because I just loved how Tony Jay delivered the lyrics with such passion.

I pretty much love all the villains songs (as i love all the villiams) but here are a few of my faves and why:

  • Poor unfortunate souls, Little Mermaid, Ursula - I love the way Pat Carroll sings this and also Ursula's suggestive body moves. Best line "and don't forgot the importance of body language!"
  • Be prepared, Lion King, Scar - Scar's sass and self importance is what sets this song off. Best line "but thick as you are pay attention, my words are a matter of pride"
  • Mother knows best, Tangled, Mother Gothal - Listing every way the world is a horrid scary place, love the over exaguration. Best line - "Plus, I believe, Gettin' kinda chubby, I'm just saying 'cause I love you"
  • Friends of the other side, Princess and the Frog, Dr Facilier - the blues of this song is really catch and has a fantastic rhythm. Best line - "you've been pushed around by your mother and your sister and your brother, and if you were married, you'd be pushed round by your wife!"
  • Oogie Boogie's Song, Nightmare before christmas, Oogie Boogie - i just think i like villian songs with a bit of sass. Oogie Boogie thinks he's the scariest thing ever. Best line - "well, well, well, what have we here, Sandy Claws huh? Ooooooh I'm really scared!"

There are so many more amazing villian songs but as much as I'd like to, i don't have time to list them all, haha

Another vote for Hell Fire. Judge Claude Frollo does a great job on giving that song a lot of emotion. Another one I like is Poor Unfortunate Souls song by the great villain Ursula.

Mother knows Best from Tangled-I sing it to my kids all the time!

Not sure if they qualify as villains but We are Siamese from Lady and the Tramp-just a catchy song

1. Friends On The Other Side- The Princess and the Frog
2. Be Prepared- The Lion King
3. Mother Knows Best- Tangled

(not sure if this counts but the villains do sing it lol) sing sweet nightingale by anistasia from Cinderella

if that doesn't count then walk the plank from peter pan when all the pirates are offering the lost boys and wendy a chance to be pirates or walk the plank lol

but i do love poor unfortunate souls but i wanted to be original too lol

"Out There" from Hunchback of Notre Dame. Even though Frollo (Tony Jay) doesn't sing it by himself, it's a duet with Quasimodo (Tom Hulce). It's just a fantastic song, the whole soundtrack from Hunchback is my fave and fantastically orchestrated.

I also love "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from Little Mermaid and "Friends on the Other Side" from Princess and the Frog.

I can't really pick a favorite...but, my parents or sister will randomly ask me what I'm singing and I realize I was not only singing Poor Unfortunate Souls but I was also singing it out loud so I guess you could say that's at the top...

Gaston and Hellfire were both stuck in my head for months leading up to my trip to WDW

Bill of Sale from Pete's Dragon. The Gogins sing about owning Pete and how he has to do their chores. I like it because it's from one of my favorite movies and it is a very catchy song. I like singing along with Nora. Also the scene is pretty funny when they're all in the water.

I got friends on the other side too. Interesting to see a voodoo master in a Disney movie.
