Just back from the 14.45pm AP showing for Frozen singalong.

It's very only 15 mins and they sing 4 songs + 1 encore. The costumes are nicely done but for me it's not a show like I thought/hoped it would be.

There is audience participation and they get the children to sing - they go round with a mike and you can see yourself on the 2 side screens.

The show was in French but on the side screens the text was written in Spanish at the top and English at the bottom. If it's an English show the side screens will be Spanish and French

Will go see it start of Sept in English with Mum but don't think I'll bother otherwise

The really good thing is that the theatre is in use again and that the ranch area has been transformed into a dress shop where they will be doing PFAD,and two huts /counters where you can buy cupcakes, cake pops, marshmallows, Frozen drinks etc

I haven't got any photos as with it raining I didn't take the camera but will go back Tuesday or Wednesday and add them to this post

Thanks Carrie. I saw something like this in DL California in March and have been wondering whether the DLP version would be the same. The Ca version was narrated by someone in costume who was training to be the official historian for Arrendelle and included all the major songs from the film but it lasted longer than 15 minutes - about half an hour I think.

Were they miming in the performance you saw? They looked liked they did at last nights VIP / Press preview.

thats not really good isnt it... but maybe because it will be in 2 languages they couldn't get enough staff or so

As a face painter I am over the frozen princess thing but I guess we will go see this while we are there just to say we have seen it.

OH thinks they were, definitely at the start - We were sat 2 rows from the back as I really didn't want to get involved in audience participation - I was just concentrating on understanding the one playing Anna as her accent was odd

I also didn't like the fact that you got Anna right at the end or that Olaf and Kristof didn't stay around for the whole thing.

Will have to dig out that "preview" from Videopolis last year and see how alike they are

I totally agree. Anna had a really thick accent. I thought it was Icelandic or something similar. It was really difficult to understand her at times. It is also a shame that there is not more of Elsa, Olaf and Kristof. The show is only 15 minutes long so they should all really be there for the whole show (Obviously after a dramatic entrance).

Just seen this posted on Facebook. ***SPOILER ALERT***

The For the First Time in Forever: A "Frozen" Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios was a 30-minute show. Sounds like the same show at DL.

Yes, that's the one I saw there in March but by all accounts the Paris show is only 15 minutes. :-)

I was in the 6.45 PM performance Sunday, first row of the elevated benches. They were definitely miming then.

DL and DLP version are not the same for sure, I crosschecked with a friend. We both kind of did this in the interest of scientific research. :D

I took lots of photos from the area, will try and post later today or tomorrow.

I will admit the show was not as bad as I feared, though the miming did bug me. Also some people just can't aim... I got three of these waterballs against my head. Be warned, when they say it is an interactive show they really mean it. :P

What disappointed me was Arendelle Village. They only used half of the ranch area used during Christmas, or is my memory that bad?

I ate the cake pop which was okay - someone else within our group thought it was great. The slush was pretty much the standard you get everywhere and the kid in our group devoured the marshmellow skewer.

It's a pity they don't use the characters more and that theyre miming. I just saw the videos, I was surprised to hear Amna's Scandanavian accent! but maybe that's more authentic? a bit confusing for kids though.
all in all I'm still looking forward to seeing it live!

My kids absolutely loved it. There is an area of blue seats at the back of the centre, and this is reserved for kids dressed up as Elsa and Anna (I guess the odd Olaf might creep in too). We got invited in there on our second viewing, and sat my daughter (an Elsa) on the end of the row, and she got lots of attention. There are cast members dancing up and down the aisles, and they throw some big balls into the crowd for "In Summer" and they get kids on the end of the rows singing into the microphone for a couple of the choruses. In "Let it Go" they pick a couple out to be shown on the big screens - and dd was one of them! She was so happy.

I agree we expected it to be longer, and we were surprised they weren't on ice like they were on Mickey's Winter Wonderland, but it was fab.
