2015 Gay Days and Walt Disney World

Looked at my ADR and FP+ for that Wednesday. I think I have the second showing of Fantasmic! at 9:55pm that night. I have no idea of when I will return to the CR but will swing by the GF to see if you guys are still up (or at least sitting down but not laying on the floor).

Has anyone done the Typhoon Lagoon night thing or the Magical Weekend party thing at Epcot before.

Trying to see if it is worth it for the money (i think it is $75)

Thanks!
Typhoon Lagoon is a must for us / just for the fact the park has been shut down to the general public and you get to enjoy yourself among your fellow gay men/women. What more can you ask for other than having a few cocktails and enjoying the waterslides...if you enjoy dancing...they've got a nice set up on beach area dj / etc or if you just wanna relax you can enjoy the lazy river (has been closed in past but reopened last year / assume it will be open again this year) As for Epcot, haven't purchased our tix (only $30) for this year and not sure if we will. I personally rather be outside enjoying the park and drinking "around the world" / but if you've never been it might be worth it / they've got DJ & dance floor if thats your thing (use same location as party from night before) and if you've never seen the Illuminations show / you get Private Terrace viewing with your ticket.

Dano, I think it is time to put some specifics out there about the Wednesday, June 3rd Monorail Crawl that you and I have planned:

5:15pm --> Pre-Crawl cocktails with casual eats (pizza, wings, nachos, etc) at Crockett's Tavern at Fort Wilderness Resort
7:00pm --> Kick off the Crawl at the Outer Rim Lounge at the Contemporary Resort
8:15pm --> Keep the Crawl alive at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at the Polynesian Resort
9:30pm --> Finish up the Crawl (as long as you can still crawl - LOL) at Mizner's Lounge at the Grand Floridian Resort

So to anyone who might want to join us, please feel free to do so. We have done the Crawl a couple times in the past and have found it to be a good way to meet new friends. Hope we can meet some new ones this year as well!
We are staying at FW and would love to meet up at Crockett's Tavern

Columbus, Ohio here.
I couldn't get a room at the Doubletree and the Hyatt was way out of my price range, so I got a room at The Point Resort - up near Carrier on Universal Blvd. Looked really good in the Tripadvisor photos and reviews. I'll be in Orlando for seven days, Monday thru Sunday. I didn't shell out the money for the pool package (I don't really like to swim and I get sunburned very easily when combined with water), but I am looking forward to the Wine and Food tasting party, the stand up comedy, and the meetups in the MK, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. I was hoping there would be an meetup day at the 'other' parks but I haven't seen anything.

Oh, and I'll be alone. Solo. haha.

Just a heads up on Trader Sams. When I was there 2 weeks ago, on a weeknight, it was a 2+ hour wait to get in. You can drink in the outside area, but if you are thinking of trying to get into the actual bar it may be a little tight on the timeline.

I agree with you about both Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot. It is something to experience just being in a Disney park that is closed off to the general pubic for a private event. It's a plus being able to drink in said park as well. Riptide @ Typhoon Lagoon is a must do! As far as Epcot's events, I'm sure they are great, but I would much rather drink around the world taking in World Showcase. Getting really excited because I check-in in three days!

Kind of figured that would be the case. I'm okay drinking outside so long as I walk away with a zombie head mug.

By all means, join our monorail crawl!

Ok- have a bit of a hiccup / my fiancé only rec'd partial dates off for our trip and will be on reserve all month (he is a Purser for AA) and was not able to move later dates around so he will not be attending :-( I have enlisted my Best Friend who will be joining me for the weekend / however we will now be arriving on Thursday vs. Wednesday so we will not be able to meet up with y'all for the Monorail crawl...hope we can catch up on Thursday / we will def be going to AK during afternoon / no specific eve plans as of yet. Will be @ DHS Friday & will def be at Riptide event in evening at TL.

That's kind of you, thank you. But, this is my first Disney trip and I've set aside that day to take in all that Epcot has to offer. Might run into you at Riptide too, though. I'll be there :)

I'll be there from 6/4-6/9. I'm excited about going and definitely looking to meet new people. Riding the rides alone is fun and all but other people make it better. I'm staying at coranado springs. Can't wait!!

My best friend and I will be there from 6/4-6/8 & staying at the Swan / hit me up if you'd like to meet up with us at the park or for drinks...are you doing Typhoon Lagoon party Friday eve?

Hey disboarders,

I've been wanting to go to Disney GayDays since I heard it existed but none of my friends share my enthusiasm for the event (though they do admit to minor Disney addictions), so I'm coming down from NYC to GayDays2015 for the 25th anniversary and am reallyexcited about it.

Wish I wasn't doing it along though. Maybe there are some other guys that will be there at the same time and wants to do some park hopping together?

Solomon

Hi Soloman- do you live in the city? I just booked a last minute trip to NY for work, arrive this Sunday through Wednesday (then head to Orlando for Disney....YAY!!!) Will be staying near our office in Times Square...let me know if you'd like to meet up for a drink??
My best friend and I will be staying at the Swan 6/4-6/8 & doing all the parks on their "scheduled days" in addition to the Riptide event @ Typhoon Lagoon...hit me up if you would like to meet up while there as well...

Jonathan
