F&W spending?

How much do you guys find yourselves spending on snacks and drinks at the Food and Wine Festival booths? It's been a few years since I've visited during the fest and I'm not a very adventurous eater but will be traveling with some this time! I'm in charge of our dining budget and I'm trying to do an estimate! We are thinking of doing a late breakfast and then snacking our way through the booths in the evening!
TIA for any input! :goodvibes

We usually use snack credits on the more expensive items from our DxDP. Usually the Filet from the Canada booth/kiosk. I would guess that with the other smaller items between my wife and I we spend right around $50 per person. That is mostly on wine and champagne for my wife though. :)

I will be going with my daughter and will probably not drink much if at all. For a teenager girl and her mom what would you say? We will be going for the last day of the festival and I'd like to try a few things.

See I've been before with just one other person and neither of us is a big drinker, and I'm a picky eater so I would say I spent maybe $10-$15?

This time I will be with a group of 4 adults and 3 kids (still no drinkers but a few foodies thrown in the mix and the kids all have better palates than their auntie ;) ) and I had no idea! I went with $25/adult and $10 for each kid. If we go over or under then we will just have to deal with it! haha! Thanks everyone for your insights! :)

Thanks for the insight. I think I'll take $50 from my souvenir budget and if we spend under that it's awesome.

LOL! I'm a hard core foodie and I LOVE F&W (even though I'm not much of a drinker.) What I will offer up as far as spending is that you can go through a LOT of $$$ before you realize it! _I_ can easily spend $60 in half a day *just* for me. Remember that the portions are SMALL. If you and daughter share, most will only be 2-3 bites each.

We also did F&W as our meals for one day like you suggested. It was about $75 each for me and my husband. We each got two alcoholic drinks and about 5 small plates.

One thing to remember when doing it instead of meals is that you will be HUNGRY all day. There are so many food smells and you don't really fill up while walking around. It makes some of the stands look extra desirable.

When DH and I would go during F&W, we'd plan for $100/day for us, for each day at F&W (just F&W kiosk food, not including breakfast or any sit-down meal for that day - those would be extra)

We used to get "something" from each & every F&W kiosk...

The wife and I are easily $150/person for a full afternoon+evening at F&W. I'm very much hoping that she is pregnant for our next visit to curb the alcohol costs (though if we time it right she will eat twice as much :P). It is pretty easy to descend into madness with $$$ there, as previously mentioned the slow graze effect combined with drinks at booths plus drinks at pavilions makes it easy to consume for way longer than you thought.

Man. One night we spent 150 between the two of us cause we were eating and drinking for a while and it was out diner. I ate two things at half the countries I'm pretty sure.

Most nights we spend at least 60 to 70 if we already ate and aren't drinking too much.

Adds up quick I think! It's so good though and just fun.
