Really cool idea if there was going to be a real, functional highline, but don't understand why the idea wasn't just scrapped when the lawyers poo-poo'd it. As accent pieces, they just look like a complete afterthought sporadically spewed about and don't really fit with the West Side theme.

Supposedly, it fits with the new theme of Disney Springs. They're also there to offer some much needed shade.

The pictures I've seen of the "highline" pieces appear to offer some much needed shade. I wish it was fully functional, but happy to have shade with plants and a seating area.

People were supposedly lining up at 10 am for trader sams and they were giving free dole whips to those in line.

Well I remember it being quite awesome in DL, though I hope the demand is not quite so high come October!

Disney, UNI and most parks and entertainment venues reuse old items for the shows and attractions. Nothing new there.

We always find it fun to notice a item we found in other attractions. The biggest one we have found is from DL. The COP was changed over to America Sings back during the 1970's, a great show that lasted about 5 years. They then brought back the COP. Then low and behold many of the animatronics figures, showed up in the Steamboat scene of WDW Splash Mountain.
