***Official November 2022 Thread***

On our first theme park day, we're moving from OKW to CC. I'm trying to decide if we should leave our bags with bell services at OKW then ride the bus MK, or take a Lyft to CC with bags, drop them off and take the boat to MK. Thoughts?
If it were me, I would want my bags at the resort I’m going to be ending the day at so I can just grab them and be done for the day.

I would move them myself. It can take a while to get your bags to the new resort.

Just let them do the transfer. Faster and easier and doesn’t cost anything

If you have any refrigerated items, you'll need to transfer them yourself. So I'd Lyft/Uber to CC with your stuff to leave at bell services. If you won't have any fridge items then leave with bell services for transfer and take the bus to MK.

No refrigerated items, it’s just a place to crash because flights out the day of weren’t great. Our room is supposed to be close to the Hospitality House so I may wait and see how convenient it is to get there. Thanks!

Unless they changed things, I think bell services will pick the bags up from your room and deliver them to the new resort, so you shouldn’t have to lug them to hospitality house.

We take no full rest days but we do have several sleep in days where we start late and it works for us. Some of those days we go into a park at 12 pm and some days we start around 3-4 pm. We’ve done trips with full rest days because that’s what the boards said to do but by 4-5 we were itching to go to a park.
We usually have at least one day we have as a rest day. This trip we kept adding park days. We were originally going to do 5 days at Disney and 1 at universal. Then we talked about doing the tickets that have the water parks included so now we gotta do a waterpark. Then we were able to snag savis reservations on the 12th and then an ogas on the 12th so we debated moving Hollywood studios to the 12 and instead wound up adding another park day (but arriving around 10:30 am). It just spiraled a little lol

8 days out! Leave next Tuesday, and I already know the answer to what I’m about to type, and I’m always the one saying it but someone please talk me off a ledge!

The forecast looks so rainy for our 5 days! I’m prepared but last time I took my DD8 on a mother daughter trip it was so cold, so was hoping for nice weather this time!

Hopefully the forecast changes!

We leave in 3 days! I have most of our stuff set aside but plan to actually pack tomorrow night. I’m off Thursday and we have a late flight (6:30 pm) so I’ll finish up our last minute stuff that day. DD gets out of school at 2:15 and we leave for the airport at 4 pm so she’ll have time to pack her last minute things. I went this weekend and got some of our toiletries we will need and that’s set aside too. I just printed out our packing list that I’ve used since 2008!

As for the weather….I wouldn’t worry. We know how rain forecasts work in Orlando. It could be raining in Epcot and sunny in MK. We’re packing our ponchos though.

I believe I read somewhere on the boards that it only rains 20% of the time in November in Orlando. Pretty good odds.

Fingers crossed!!

I finally got a Space220 reservation! I had signed up for a service that finds reservations but every time I got the text and immediately logged on, I was too slow to grab one! :( I read on this site that someone used a dining fairy that not only looked for a reservation but also booked it for you. I signed up yesterday and within less than 24 hours, they found and booked a dinner for me! Well worth the price, imo! Not the best time, 4:45pm but I will take what I can get.

That was the final piece of the trip that I had to book so we are good to go now. So excited!

I think people are in the cancellation phase right now. I had two alerts scheduled for VN. Lunch and dinner. I got an alert for dinner and booked then got a lunch one and hour after. I kept our dinner.

Since I signed up for the reservation finder, I have received 10 or so texts about availability but even when I logged on right away, I always seemed to be too slow. It was worth it to me to spend $6/person for someone else to take care of booking it for me. There are only 3 of us so if it was more people, I might think twice.

I paid for a service for Topolino’s and haven’t received one alert. We got a reservation for our departure day but I wanted it a bit earlier in our trip. If it doesn’t come through we will be fine.

I was also nervous looking at the forecast on weather.com, so I checked out Accuweather and it only predicts rain on 1 day. So that’s what I’m choosing to believe 🙃 lol

OK, typing out our plans again because a) it's fun and makes me excited and b) I always hope that if anyone more experienced (this is my FIRST Disney World trip) sees something that makes no sense or something that could be better, I hope they'll speak up and give tips! ;-)

Sat. 11/12: arrive to MCO; check in POR Riverside; late dinner at Boatwrights

Sun. 11/13: rest day; pool (maybe?); Disney Springs; dinner at The Boathouse

Mon. 11/14: Animal Kingdom; Tiffins dinner (late to hopefully see a mostly empty and dark park after @7:30pm)

Tues. 11/15: Hollywood Studios; Ogas; Lightababer building @ 1:25pm. right after that go to resort to rest before PARTY; MVMCP !!!!

Wed. 11/16: Kona Cafe for breakfast (is this a stupid idea before first real MK day besides party night before? I know we will be tired); Magic Kingdom; Be our Guest lunch; Treats & Seats dessert party

Thurs. 11/17: rest day. no plans except for dinner at Story Book dining

Fri. 11/18: Epcot; dinner at Le Cellier; Harmonious

Sat. 11/19: Hollywood Studios; lunch at SciFi; Ogas @ 9:15pm because was hoping to exit to mostly empty park...now Fantastic has been announced for 9pm! We have seen Fantastic at Disneyland more than once, so really unsure to keep Ogas or do F!?

Sun. 11/20: rest 1/2 day; Epcot lunch at Space 220; dinner at San Angel Inn

Mon. 11/21: Magic Kingdom; dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table

I can't believe how close this trip is. I feel overwhelmed with packing etc.!!!!

This is my first time hearing of this service, going to give it a try! Just 2 of us so $12 lost if it doesn’t work right??
