I was the one in tears and jumping for joy.

When Jordan Fisher came on stage and the song began I told my wife there was no way they would be so cruel as to play that song without then announcing it was coming back. I still didn't think it would happen until the news broke.

It's not exactly coming back. The song will be part of a new show.

Yeah i was watching D23 live from my car in between my DS's soccer games. Saw the HEA performance and knew it was coming back. Was in tears before Josh even announced.
I saw Jordan's tweet awhile back, so it all made sense.

I said this to you on another thread and I’ll say it again here… the song is the heart and soul of the show. The song is what will make any show amazing.

I get that. It's great people love the song. To me this whole D23 and this included, I'm blown away at how much people love the lackluster WDW announcements. Even this as good as the song is, the show itself is not coming back.

It is worded as "updated", (Disney Parks) Epcot was worded as "whole new". I don't think that equals a whole different show at MK.

Not sure how you answered my question when I asked wouldn’t you rather put your money in a company that is investing in the future. You didn’t answer that.

It’s nice to do so however I don’t believe that you or I or anyone that is not an insider has a full understanding on the scope of investment projected by either company. Making an announcement about a future project is good for marketing particularly for a company that needs a boost. On the other hand a company that is having challenges managing demand doesn’t need to follow suit

I'm not asking this to be difficult, I genuinely don't know if maybe I missed something. How do we know that the show building is done? Nobody has seen the inside of it.

I thought it was very telling that they didn’t show the inside when D’Amaro was riding it.

I have and it sure ain't the Pixie dust that rains in here. Sorry but I expected more then a few meet and greets, another delay for a new attraction opening and 2 night time shows. It's no wonder they don't need to add major additions when the Pixie dusters love even the smallest things.

"Updated nighttime spectacular" seems to indicate that the show is coming back but it'll be updated. Which it should be because it's over five years old.

If it was going to be an entirely new fireworks show using HEA they'd say "new nighttime spectacular". That's how I'm reading it.

I am going to speak up for Jrb1979, I don't know how more people aren't disappointed. That was a terrible day and it left unused spaces with no future plans. If the annoucement didn't come today, it speaks to nothing occurring for a long time.

I do get the excitement for HEA, and I am excited for it too! I WANT to see in on a future trip to WDW! However to me, WDW could only expect they were going to get a firework show post your 50th anniversary. It was going to be either HEA (most likely IMO), a brand new one or another one coming back. So it wasn't a question of "if", just what was it going to look like.

For me, today isn't just about filling out the details on the obvious things that would/should happen, it's about a little new magic.

I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill. When you add in the lackluster announcements today and everything that has gone on the last few years it's hard to be excited about this company anymore. I know most of you don't care about Universal but to see what they are doing in adding a brand new park. It's night and day the difference and it's disappointing.

You can be disappointed and it’s fine to be…. but I don’t get the need to reply to people who ARE excited with Debbie Downer replies. That bugs me to no end.

I feel like we were talked to like we were little kids. “Hey wouldn’t it be cool if…” “imagine if we did this…!!!” Patronizing. It’s basically lies to fill air space because they knew they didn’t have much to talk about.

They might as well have said “hey, what if we created an actual banshee to ride on and then we shot you into space for REAL!!!! Would t that be cool if we did that?!?!” Would you believe it? Because that’s the same thing.

I’m so frustrated. As you can tell by my posts. I love this place. I really do and my heart is breaking that it’s just falling apart. I want better then this.
