Fantasmic Premium Dining. There are 15 to 16 tables for the premium dining at River Belle. Be aware that there are only 7 tables with primo views (on the railing) the other 8 are behind those tables on the railing with an obstructed view. So, you have a 50/50 chance of getting railing seating. We did not get rail seating and I was under the impression that's what I was paying the upgrade for. The food was just ok. The show was still spectacular, but I won't drop that kind of cash again without knowing where my seating was.

Also, it seems the seating is pre determined so it won't matter when you check in or how early you get there.

Just finished watching a live feed. Fantasmic never looked so good! Everything seemed to be working so well and even Murphy looked all shiny and amazing!

He didn't breathe fire though. In a video of the cast member preview the night before, he was working perfectly.

The person in front of us asked and was told they can only order off the Fantasmic menu but who knows if that will change once they get everything up and running smoothly.

Ugh, I hope this changes because the menu is not good for us!

Hungry Bear to go menu! We had 7:30 reservations, got in a long check in line at 7:06. It’s 7:50 and we still have a few people in front of us before we order. Standby people have been lining up for hours already for the first show.

I have Hungry Bear package booked, but I am really thinking about bringing one of old Blue Bayou Fantasmic cushions, especially if they open the viewing section 90 minutes before show time.

This is worth it right there IMO. It’s easier to put a small child on your lap so they can see fairly well (and it’s not rude to those behind you and your arms aren’t tired.)

I wasn't there last night, but in 2019 we went and there were 3 rows of tables and we were in the back. My kids stood up to watch and we all had a good view.

I wish they had chairs. I seem to remember years ago there were dining packages with chairs involved. I just can't sit on the ground for even half an hour without really messing up my back. It might be an option for DH and the kids, though.

I like this idea! Maybe if anyone in my family tries it I'll make sure they have a nice cushion. I don't mind sitting somewhere by myself and having a bad view while they sit in the reserved dining package seats.

In previous times I always got a lunch reservation at Blue Bayou and would carry the cushion for the rest of the day. I would sit on it on rides and it was easy to carry as it has a handle

Yes. But this was probably at least 8 or 9 years ago or longer.

We didn’t love the food. The kids Mac and cheese was good. The ribs were ok. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken. The meals were prepackaged so I don’t know about substitutions but maybe send an email in advance? Definitely kinks tonight but I’m sure it will get better after a week or so.

I’ve got mine booked for July 3 because last time, I, too, was able to order just a burger off regular menu. If i can’t do that, I’ll probably just pick up voucher and eat somewhere else. I picked a mid-afternoon time so plenty of time to decide.

I don't know who comes up with these menus, they are terrible. And the River Belle and Hungry BEar are so similar (kind of southern BBQ feel) and I really don't like that kind of food so there is no good choice.

Actually having the broccoli as the veg is something I am happy with. I eat broccoli every day as I have problems with my iron levels. While I love the variety of food at Disneyland, I always find I eat far less fruit and vegetables on my park days and I notice it in how my body feels.
