Candlelight Processional Dining packages are posted!

Disney is just getting crazier and crazier! I certainly agree that phone wait times with be outrageous, just like trying to book for the free dining stays in the the past. I have a question... I thought there were 4 restaurants for the CLP however when I go to the dining site it does not list R&C. is this a glitch or are there going to only be 3? or does anyone think that they will open more later?

Who knows what the reason for this is, its so annoying.

Is booking this like a regular dining reservation, where you put down a credit card to hold it but aren’t charged the full amount til the day of? Is there a cancellation penalty? We are 90% sure we are going and would like to get a reservation but don’t want to lose $$ if we do cancel.

Still many dates do not have celebrity narrators specified.

Any speculation why?

no idea.
waiting on vax approval for children?
If I'm NPH for example Im not taking my unvaccinated kids to Florida, and it wouldn't be worth it to me to go without them.

When I go to dining I don’t see any restaurants listed yet. Are you trying to book through “dining events?”

Um, no. NPH and family were spotted at WDW less than a week and a half ago

Somewhat different question. We have next to no Interest in CP. (Not our religion.). But we really want to do a regular lunch at Biergarten (family tradition). Disney has not released a single ADR for Biergarten for all of December. Even at 60+10 there has never been a single available time for any sized party. It seems like maybe the only way you can go to Biergarten in December is to book a CP package. I’m very annoyed about having to do it, and to pay extra. But I think I would if that’s my only option. Would the experience at Biergarten be any different if I booked it as a CP dining package, and then didn’t actually attend CP? Could I just give our CP badges away to some random people?

Looks like some early day reservations from Biergarten are starting to show up. I'd take a look!

I hope that since normal ADR availability has dried up for these restaurants that means there will be a lot of availability for CP packages. Only four restaurants is just so limited. I don’t know if we’ll want to spend that much time in the standby line if we’re not able to get one. I miss 2019 when I was super late to the game and still able to get a package with Ale and Compass breakfast at just over a month out.

Alternatively, more people can come in via the standby line with way fewer guests, although I’m sure this is a reflection of fewer shows. Sigh.

That is a reservation for October 27th. The missing availability is for December.

Oh man, that was dumb of me not to notice! I was looking at December dates, and when I started a new search, I forgot to change the month! Sorry all!!!

Based on the info on the web site, the CP dining packages will be handled the same as a 60-day dining reservation. The big difference is Tuesday morning at 6AM ET, there will be a lot of people on the site to book these packages through Christmas Day (60 days out). SO an entire month of CP packages will be available at the same time! I'd expect all 4 advertised restaurants to be available for booking in the morning. Still no sign of show times yet. If they do allow only 60 days out, it will mean that folks wanting these packages the week between Christmas and New Year's will have to have a resort reservation that allows them to 'reach' those days, or wait a day or so to make their CP reservations.

Would this be a good for a 4, 8, and 10 year old?
I completely disagree with the poster who said no to this question. If your kids enjoy music (familiar Christmas music), they'll enjoy the story and the show. It's not even that long of a show - probably an hour or less. It's far from a church service. The Voices of Liberty are elite singers and lead most of the show. Well known narrators tell the story. It's inspiring for adults and kids, at least those families who wish to hear the story of Christ. My kids loved it when they were young, and still do now that they're adults.
