News Round Up 2020

Agree . you already see it in restaurants. I mean even though they can be open in some states, restaurants like Chick-Fil-A don't have indoor dining anywhere. So they are probably running 3-4 employees less than before since they don't need cash registers or people to clean tables.
A little OT but my DD and I stopped at one of the few Chick-Fil-A's in Canada last Saturday. They're a rare breed here and the line was approx 60 parties long and stretched a good distance down the mall!! We were only in line about 20 mins, no indoor dining is allowed so all was takeout and I counted 18 people working behind the counter - and that was only the people I could see!

Not a 'normal' comparison by any means but Canadians love their Chick-Fil-A too and are willing to wait for it! :)

Chick Fil-A in my town often have more people at their restaurants (now just drive-thru and take out) than probably all the other nearby fast food restaurants combined. It's like the Disney of fast food. People are willing to pay for and wait for good service and good food.

Well, glad I got my park reservation when I did:

same here! accidental too, as I never even considered that we bought new annual passes back before the shutdown but hadn't activated them because the spring trip was canceled. it was of course a minor inconvienece when we showed up at MK 2 weeks ago and had a surprise visit to guest services, but later that day the lightbulb lit upstairs that now the next Oct was within our use year! :earsboy: score!

See you there!

Sorry, but if I only had 3 reservations, I wouldnt use one for a day 10.5 months in advance. Not under the current structure. If they were to expand to maybe 7-10 reservations for APs, then yeah, sure I’d use one for next October. But not only having 3. I’d just book a hotel room

since I was at a park at the time I had that brainstorm, I did use our 3 AP days for that weekend because it was quick and easy, but then later on we booked a room for the whole week and switched them over to "hotel days". :earsboy:
