Opinion: Order of Park reservation and which would you do multiple times

Anyway, the guests who have gotten park reservations, did you get what you wanted? I did, but not traveling till Nov. I got DS for 2 days. Kind of excited that we don't have to get there so early, as it opens at 10am.
We were able to no problem 🙂. I honestly feel silly for being so stressed about it lol. We were going during a holiday week though so I worried with the reduced capacity about limited availability.

For our trip that was supposed to be this year, we were going to do two days at DHS since we've not seen Toy Story Land or the new Star Wars section. Next year we have six park days instead of five so we can do two at DHS & two at MK.

Thursday (arrival): MK
Friday: AK
Saturday: Epcot
Sunday: DHS
Monday: MK

This is for Columbus Day weekend. I got DHS first, then MK on Columbus Day, then MK on arrival day, then AK, then Epcot. I figured DHS would be the toughest "get" and that Columbus Day would be second. I also assumed Epcot would be the easiest to get--surprised that MK was the last park without any capacity-reached days. Staying at the Poly, so arrival day at MK made sense and I like ending the trip there as well, so we've got MK as bookends. I also wanted to make sure I didn't have AK (early start) the day after Epcot (later finish).

We have 10 day tickets
MK - 3 times
EP - 3 times
AK - 2 times
HS- 2 times

I thought long and hard about this but in case the playgrounds are not open, I picked the bigger parks For our third time because there is just a lot more to do. We have little kids and they can ride those walk on rides at Epcot over and over without getting board. Plus there is a lot of space to run around and we have all the food and wine food stands we can try. And with MK there are just so many rides!! There is enough to do to entertain them without taking our usually long playground break.
AK has the zoo part to it and that would usually make it our go to park except that with the kids having to wear masks, being outside watching animals in the heat probably won’t last long.
HS would be a tough sell for us for an extra day without the shows.

Loaded question/s. Looking for opinions, please. I have my park reservations right now. Going May 24-27 2021. Reserved Mon - AK, Tues - HS, Wed - MK & Thurs - HS. My thinking is that we want to be sure to enjoy all the new attractions at HS and Epcot is still under construction. Some people say that Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind was close to finished before the COVID shutdown. What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe it will be completed in time for our trip? I was thinking if it is, we really need to do at least one Epcot day. We would hate to miss Cosmic Rewind! That said, will I even be able to change a park reservation day? It's already booked. Also, this might be our last WDW trip, or at least last trip for a looong time. Sure could use some help on this one! Thanks!

merged you to the existing thread
No one knows if Cosmic Rewind will be open but you can cancel a reservation and book for another park

We have 6 day tickets.
2-EP (Food and Wine)
2-DHS (since Star Wars is always crowded and no bet that we will be able ride everything in one day)
1-AK
1-MK

Booked August 13-18, 2021. As it stands now...

Sat: HS
Sun: MK
Mon: EP
Tues: AK
Wed: MK

We debated which park to do twice. As things stand, MK is our choice. We didn't hit MK on our last trip. If Epcot construction is (mostly) done by then, we might make it our 2x park. We are also more than willing to push back our plans once we know when current construction projects will be complete.

This park order/selection very much depends on how the system evolves in the next 14 months. If FP's are reintroduced (either in the old format or a completely new one), we will consider switching the days around to ensure we can ride the newer attractions.

This will be our 6th visit, and my first time visiting during my birthday. Cautiously optimistic that things will be better by then, but definitely ready to modify our plans if the world is still on fire in 2021.

Re-booked from Aug 2020 to Aug 2021

Sat: arrival - no park
Sun: MK
Mon: E
Tues: AK
Wed: DHS
Th: MK
Fri: DHS
Sat: AK
Sun: DHS
Mon: E
Tues: MK

I originally had Epcot for 3 days, but I changed to DHS for 3 days as I'm guess that it would be easier to switch to Epcot later, than to switch to DHS.

I really hopes the system is programmed to allow cancelled park reservations back into the pool

I wish they would've done this in like 3 months periods
I agree with the wish, especially as a passholder, but I can kind of understand why they didn’t. No one is going to book a trip without knowing they can get into the parks. It’s not perfect now, but if most people are booking packages, they can go ahead and book their park reservations right away so they know their trip isn’t a waste. My issue is I know I want to go in May and August/September next year, but my AP expires in April now. Way too far ahead to renew, and so I have no idea what availability will look like once I can book. So I haven’t booked the hotel stays yet. By the time I can renew, there may not be any slots and rooms left. Add in the fact that they had to allow everyone who was already booked a chance to make reservation, and then everyone who already had tickets, and it’s just a cluster.

I would hope any cancellations would go back in the pool, like FP did. I certainly will cancel any days I don’t intend to use, just as I did with FP and do with ADRs.

Can't remember the last time I went to WDW without park hopping. Gotta re-think everything now.

Not going until Jan. 2021 and hope these restrictions will be relaxed by then but, for FOMO, I made reservations for all 29 Nights of our resort stay.
I started with Animal Kingdom (always DW's 1st stop to see FOLK (Festival Of the Lion King):flower1:, then EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom - in a continuous loop from 1/3/21-2/1/21.
That leaves us with - 8 Animal Kingdom, 8 EPCOT, 7 Hollywood Studios, 7 Magic Kingdom.
It feels silly selecting parks per day that far in advance, and I hope it's all OBE (Overcome by Events) anyway.
And, not at all to complain, just to make note - We stay in Orlando through 2/20/21, just not on WDW Property, but we were not able to make park reservations for those days, even though our APs will still be good.:confused3
I am so done with this B@t💩 Virus !

We go end of July. AK, HS, MK, EP, HS, MK, AK, HS, MK, EP
travel Days inclusive. So, 3MK,3HS, 1.5 AK, 1.5EP
Thinking, travel day just pop in see what we can do but likely need a short day to get settled regardless. Similar with travel on Epcot, with check out the timing will coincide with when we want to go to the park so we won’t miss much.
tried not to have repeating parks back to back.
otherwise, not much strategy needed I think.

Oh man you are so lucky to be able to stay for so long. So jealous. LOL

Hi all! I value opinions on here and was wondering which you all would choose for my upcoming trip in Oct. We have 5 day tickets (PH, but that doesn't matter anymore). When going to make park reservations, which park would you choose to go to twice? My gut says MK...just because reasons 😆 BUT, I haven't been to Disney since 2012 sooo what park will need some more of my time 🤔 Usually with PH and not having to make reservations, I would wing it! I would be happy at any of them, of course. Thanks for your thoughts!

In September we have MK, DHS, EC, DAK, MK, DHS. We can never have too much MK or DHS but i can't miss out on AK either. I could take or leave EC but I do love Soarin'.

We have 8 1/2 park days. We have 2 at MK, HS, EP and 3 at AK. Chose the 3rd day at AK since we leave for the airport around lunch time and that park opened earliest. Nothing scientific about it. :confused3
