I tried, but when I click off of room and on the free dining offer, the availability goes away. Ahhhh

So if you are in USA are you allowed to book under that Canada heading? I'm guessing NO

Hmmmm I wonder if you can....For fun I just booked one under the US/English heading, but I am in Canada.....maybe try changing to Canada/English and see if it will let you book too....

Given that we have dates not available on the US offer, I'm going to guess it would be caught along the way somewhere. Nevermind our exchange rate.

It actually priced it out correctly and let me get all the way through adding guests and even my address and shipping. It was the postal card on the credit card page that stopped it. Oh well, it was worth a try.

Yeah that is all I see also. And the GF is $800 more than we are paying now at Cont. w/o free dining so that is ridiculous.

We saved $82 by switching from the poly to GF! I was totally shocked and GF is my mom's dream resort she never thought she'd get to so for me it was a no brainer.

I've been lurking here since the start of the thread. First thanks to all for the rumors which turned out to be true and seeing the commradery here has been truly wonderful! I stayed up all night with you guys and even joined ******* to see the dining drop even though I have a TA. I wanted to see if I could get a better deal. My TA was great last year but this year she seemed fed up with me and trying to get the best deal whether it be FD or AP she was just annoyed. So that's another reason I thought let me see if I can do this myself. So I have BC GV MYW pkg booked at the rates prior to February increase. There wasn't anything for FD that would save me money. I found BWI STD view and even at the new rates it was cheaper by 1600 than my BC last year pkg. So I booked it just in case. It was also 600 cheaper than a PKG with an exclusive deal at BC as well. Then after texting and emailing my TA at 6am she emailed me at 7ish saying there are no BC rooms for FD for my room. But for 80 more On my original PKG price I can get DLX CL at BC. I'm celebrating my 20th Anniversary, my son turns 12 two days into our trip, and my daughter's sweet 16th. So I thought that's a good deal. It doesn't save off my original PKG but it is a svgs compared to the normal rate of 1500. What should I do? I have BWI STD FD for 5200 for 6n/7d, 5 day PH for 5 people (4 are considered adults). I also have my TA new offer of BC Deluxe club level for 6900. Which is 80 over my original PKG with her. I booked originally for what I wanted and could afford. I wanted to save something if I could FD was the on top. But I really like that svgs at BWI I need some opinions what would you choose? BWI or DlxCL BC all with FD. Of those that stayed in these which did you prefer? Thanks everyone!!!

I love Beach Club, but I think I would go for BWI. Same great location ( I love that you can walk to EPCOT!) but $1700 cheaper. Just my opinion

That's amazing! I have only visited GF but that is my dream resort also! It is so beautiful. If you can, eat at Narcoossee's and time it for the fireworks and electrical water pageant. Such a great experience.

I wouldn't think so. They tend to stay at the All Stars Resorts, then some overflow to POP. Their dates this year are the 2nd to the 9th.

Maybe it has to do with POP undergoing room refurbishments?

The construction at CBR has eliminated much of the dining, however after some reading there will be a buffet available for breakfast and dinner. Does anyone know if this buffet will be considered a QS or a TS?

That's awesome! I booked in December before price increases so I think it will only save me money if I can get Cont- standard or Garden, or Poly Standard- which all of those might be impossible. I'll keep checking all of them and GF also. Thanks!

I hope you guys at least get similar tasting food in the food stands/buffet. The food court and Shutters were awesome when I stayed there in 2015.

Thank you!! I had AllStar sports preferred and wanted standard. Switching to pop standard saves me $108! Plus we like pop better Yesterday they told me pop was all booked.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates are as follows:

November: 8, 9, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26, and 28, 2017
December: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, and 22, 2017

Ticket prices have not been announced - should be sometime in May - it is expensive but you will have a great time

Here is a question. Every year about this time we kick ourselves for not booking the bounce back free dining promo. We get done with the vacation and say "okay, we got our fill, let's go somewhere else next year" and then long about Feb we start saying.... "let's go back" and then start stalking the free dining.

What are the odds that the bounce back offer for free dining is also QS at mods? What is the chance that it stays at the old way of being DDP for the moderates?

FINALLY, Just booked ALL STAR SPORTS from Nov 27 thru Dec 2nd. Upgraded quickservice to DDP. Hoping POP century opens up and we can switch over. Transportation to the parks is what worries me. I've read Sports is the lesser of 3 evils regarding that. Anyone have any insights on the transportation situation regarding the value resorts?

I don't know. I am guessing it won't be, simply because it's an all you can eat buffet and that would be a very good value for a quick service. I imagine it will be table service.. which kind of stinks given that they are ripping out a sizeable food court.
If we stay at CBR (still deciding) we've resigned ourselves to not eating at the resort. We would have a car.


Question for all : We have a standard room at POP right now. It would cost us $560 to upgrade to the regular DDP at Pop. OR it's $560 to stick with the counter service plan and upgrade to CBR.

I just can't decide. We are two adults and two teens. What would you do? Better dining plan but way less room at Pop? Or better room, better pool, but fewer amenities and only the counter service plan at CBR?

I can't decided for the life of me. If a Standard room opens at POR for my dates it's a no brainer. But there is nothing right now.

We're going with Pop with the upgraded dining plan over POR and QS, because the experience of the table services we booked will outweigh the larger room. And adding the upgrade to the already pricey moderate room would be way too much for us. Granted we're two adults and one 6 y/o, so the space isn't that much of an issue for us personally.
