Golf is boring without Tiger

That's funny. I quit watching golf, because of Tiger. I lose interest in sports that have a dominate player or team that wins all the time. I quit watching NCAA women's basketball for the same reason. IMHO, a person or team dominating a sport ruins it.

Amazing Masters playoff with 2 great players. Not boring to me, & I don't even play golf.

But it's the Masters! The crowd is just on its feet here. He's a Cinderella boy. Tears in his eyes, I guess, as he lines up this last shot. He's got about 195 yards left, and he's got a, looks like he's got about an 8 iron. This crowd has gone deadly silent... Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now, about to become the Masters Champion. It looks like a mirac- It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Certainly turned out better than normal but I still don't get the same level of excitement watching it that I did when Tiger played.

Were you watching golf on TV before Tiger Woods arrived on the scene? That may make a difference. I was watching golf with my father 40 years ago, and usually watch the Masters and US Open in his memory. I don't miss Tiger either.

I did watch some before the Tiger era, was always a big Payne Stewart and Fred Couples fan. But still, my rooting interest went through the roof after Tiger's arrival.
