When we go next year, we may end up with the "one quick service" plan. It is $ 40.00 a day to upgrade. My daughter will be paying $ 200.00 a day, or $ 2000.00 for the trip to upgrade for her family. So...if would be a huge cost savings if we can get late August FD. But the chances are pretty slim I think. We shall see what this year brings and hope.Thank you for sharing. I seriously hope it's not quick service for mods when released here. In that case it's offsite I go. It would cost about $700 for us to upgrade the quick service plan for 4 Disney adults.
Haha! Sounds like my hubby;-) last year I shook him awake at 4:15am doing a happy dance after booking FD! We high fived and went back to bed!Mine goes to bed but right before he lays down at 10pm he hands me a cup of coffee and says, "don't screw this up." lol
Are your spouses all up at 4am also? I don't mind being up, but DH already thinks I'm a bit nutso for Disney. If I'm up at 4am and he asks what the heck I'm doing....... I guess I can just tell him I'm a crazy disboarder!!!
I'm on the phone immediately at check in time and I've never gotten A boarding. But...usually are in B. If I wait just 10 more minutes cause the lines are busy, I end up at the end of B!
OMGoodness! I woke mine up at 4:10 the same way!!! Great minds think alike.Haha! Sounds like my hubby;-) last year I shook him awake at 4:15am doing a happy dance after booking FD! We high fived and went back to bed!
He's a keeper!Mine goes to bed but right before he lays down at 10pm he hands me a cup of coffee and says, "don't screw this up." lol
Please help with the answer to when is free dining ?
(I do not want to read 100 pages.)
Thanks.
Add them now.I have a quick question for you all. I may be adding a couple to my ADR's, but our schedule won't be solidified until we can book F+ at 30 days out. Should I add them now, just in case, or wait till then?
I pay for the early bird and have never gotten A (at least as far as I can recall), but we have been very low B.
I thought I would make a Google search in Spanish to see any possible rumour about FD and stumble upon this. Which basically says free dining for stays between April 8 to June 22, 2017, with the purchase of 2-Day ticket and adding either park hopper option or the water park one. Guests staying in Moderate resorts receive Disney Dining Quick Plan Service for their whole stay and guests staying in Deluxe resorts receive the regular dining plan. I wonder if that's an indication that we may hear about FD after March 30
Yes! That's why it's good to book at 4:00am as soon as the promotion comes out.I think this was 3 yrs ago (or so?). I know I had FD that year but my TA booked it after 9:30am EST. I also remember that every year the website has serious computer glitches & goes down because of traffic.
I hope this is true. However, FD was not released on the 27th of April last year. It was the 25th.I just read this from the Disney Tourist Blog by Tom Bricker:
"As of March 20, 2017 (the date this post was last updated–see the bold update section below), Free Dining had not yet been released for the general public. Last year, the promotion was released in on April 27. However, this year, we have already noticed Walt Disney World moving forward the release dates of its discount offers, so we anticipate rumored dates around late March 2017, with the promotion becoming available by early or mid-April 2017, with booking for dates August through December 2017."
Come on people! If Disney was going to offer free dining for US guests for stays starting APRIL 8, it would already be out there, not to mention that is the beginning of the Easter craziness. Also, US guests can no longer purchase a ticket with just the water park option. Free dining deals for other countries have almost no bearing on what they will offer here.
So...you are both hooked now! Welcome to the club...and please join us for the 4 a.m. eastern time party upon release!New to the board but in doing some prep work saw a lot of great info and had to join! - Last year I wanted badly to take my bf for the first time to Disney, I had been 3 times in the year and a half prior but there is always a need to go back! He was hesitant and I got FD at POP right around the release but canceled it as I wasn't sure he was fully on board. One day end of June I was bored at work and took a chance pricing the same December dates and to my major luck FD was still open at ASM - I had to snag it. When I told my boyfriend I not only got FD but had points for a free night stay and flights were $175 rdtp he said fine. Well here we are a year later and he keeps asking when FD is announced and to make sure i book 6 nights this time! I am torn between CBR and POP - but any Disney stay is magical so fingers are crossed dates align with when I can go this December.
