So in 2014 we went and there were walls all over Animal Kingdom and the entire Hub area at MK was under construction.

Going end of October this year, am I correct in saying that there will be no walls at either park? (assuming Pandora is open) That would be AWESOME!!! (not worried about HS)

Or is there something I'm forgetting?

I don't think mk has anything up at the moment but not sure they finished all their painting either. It's not like 2014. Springs has very little still left, looks gorgeous, the roads mostly done around that area but not impacting traffic anymore. HS has some :) AK I think is free and clear except the 2 areas to get to pandora that should come down if it's opened when you get here.

now epcot is suppose to get a transformation so who knwos when they will go up. They actually have some up right now but they are using them as part of the art weekends thing going on so it's interesting and hiding the kiosks they didn't put away because they need them for flower and garden soon.

Every time I have been to WDW in the past 6 straight years, there has been walls and skrims up of some sort. It definitely isn't out of the question that somethign will be under construction while you are there. I barely even notice them now. I just sort of look at them, and go about my day.

Oh I'm not worried about a scrim here or there. The amounts of walls and fencing etc. was pretty crazy when we went. Magic Kingdom was really noticeable around the HUB.

Looking forward to seeing the finished products! :)

Thanks! I didn't even attempt Disney Springs our last trip! :p

If Epcot gets some, so be it, they need it.

We were there last September and the worst that I saw at that point was in HS. A LOT of walls!!!

Yes, I'll be expecting that! Not too worried though, Hollywood Studios has never been a favorite. We enjoy it, but don't spend a lot of time there. Until Star Wars Land opens.....

The MK hub is done now and so much better

The new hub is great. I didn't like the walls either but the end product make navigating the hub much easier.

The entire "second floor" of the Main St. RR station is covered with scrim on the front gates side.

And it looks terrible! I hoped for/expected a printed screen that at least looked like the Train Station instead of a blank wall. Glad it's only for 6 weeks.

EDIT: The printed tarp went up today over the plain one, so apologies! If I had a bit more patience I could have saved myself the worry. Looks much better now that the tarp has the Train Station printed on it.

No doubt!lol:)

There will ALWAYS be walls up somewhere at WDW!:)

Which is actually a good thing. It means that Disney isn't letting its parks fall into disrepair and that they're at least trying to improve, update, or elevate the experience. The nearest park to me (Six Flage Great Adventure in NJ) could take a cue or two from that. We let our season passes lapse for SFGA at least partially because of the neglect. It's disheartening to be in the queue for one ride and to look off to the left and see the remains of another ride that was torn down 10+ years ago. I'd certainly rather see scrims and walls than stripped land and junk.
