Does anyone get any type of discount for Christmas week, 25-31?

In all my years, we've never braved it during that time, but were thinking of making our trip this year a Christmas trip (have mercy on our souls).

I know its the most expensive week of the year, just wanted to know if anyone has gotten a discount for that particular week?

We have a few times in the past even received free dining but that was serveral years ago. Discounts are becoming less and less it seems.

We went during Christmas for the first time, normally we go Easter, we loved it!! We checked in Dec 21 so we could get free dining and checked out New Years Day! Already planning next Christmas.. hoping to get free dining again!! early morning and late night crowds were not as bad as I thought they were going to be!

We want to go Dec. 16 check out the 23. Historically FD is on stays December 10 through December 21, 2016 which means check out on Dec 22???

Also, this means we could only book FD (if it is offered and we can grab it) from Dec 16 check out on Dec 22, we wouldn't be able to book it for the final night we want to be there? And we would need 2 reservations?

I have a question in regards to this. In 2016 free dining started on Saturday December 10th. Is it more likely free dining is offered on the date regardless of day OR is it more likely on a certain day of the week?
The reason I ask is we are booked Saturday December 9.

Also hoping for a discount for the 15-19th. We originally booked the Free dining bounceback but then the Canadian resident deal came out and I think that, plus hopefully a room only discount will be a better deal. It gives us more flexibility too.

We just booked a trip for Dec 11-17th at the CBR. We are hoping for Free Dining or a discount on hotel. We are spending a few days before this at Universal staying on site there.

Last trip to Disney was in Jan 2014, we got the Play, Stay, Dine discount back then and stayed at POR.

Can't wait for December!!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but what the heck, maybe someone will know the answer. A couple of weeks ago, I booked BWI, Deluxe Club, 12/9-12/15/17. This year, we're annual pass holders and are certainly hoping for an AP discount. Due to the fact that I think there are only 10 Deluxe rooms and not sure any discount will be offered, I just double booked BWI Boardwalk View-Club level. A little painful to cough up another $900 but I'm figuring if the Deluxe room doesn't get an AP discount, then hopefully the Boardwalk View room will and I'll cancel the Deluxe room. Has anyone ever gotten any AP discounts on these room categories during that time of year?

As long as you check in between December 10th and December 21st. you get free dining for all of your package and only need one reservation.

For example,we got free dining November 26th to November 30th 2016. Free dining was available for check ins between November 26th and 28th, the blackout dates started up again on the 29th, but because we checked in when the promo was active on the 26th we got it for our entire stay.

So, as long as your check in day is during the free dining dates you get it your entire stay.

Free dining is a promotion that is offered during certain times of the year. If you book a Deluxe or Moderate under the promotion you get the Disney Dining plan, which includes one quick service meal (non-alcoholic drink and entrée) and one Table service meal (non-alcoholic drink, entrée and dessert) and 2 snacks. Value resorts get the quick service dining plan. This plan is per guest on the reservation and you must purchase tickets and park hoppers as a part of the package.

The promotion seems to be dwindling as of late with less availability every year.

Hi all! We are hoping for a WL discount in Dec. Does anyone know when the unique offer code was blocked out last year? We always get one and we had one last Dec but I don't remember what the dates were.

Our story is, our trip has been moved multiple times due to some health issues and we were going to go in a month but after a lot of construction at wilderness Lodge we had switched to POR.

After seeing pictures of Geyser Point, we are is dying to go there again but not until Christmas when everything is finished or at least almost finished ...

Add me to the list. It will be my trip with dd8 since becoming a single parent. I'm looking at 12/25-12/31. I am aware of the craziness since we used to do 12/19-12/25 annually as a family.

Can any fellow dis'er help me with a few questions since I've been out of the game for a few years.
If I room a room though Disney and add tickets purchased via my company at a discount,
1. Will I get access to fast passes at 60 days out like I would if I booked through disney vacations?
2. Can I add dining?
3. Can I add an extra day to the 5 day park hoppers that I can purchase?

1. Yes you can. Just add the tickets to your MDE account once they are purchased.
2. You can add free dining.
3. Are 5 day park hoppers the most you can get from your company? If that's the most you can get from your company I think you would have to buy a one day park hopper separately. If that's the case I would price that out and see how much that would be since the more days you purchase the more or a discount you get. Buying a one day park hopper may negate any savings you get through your company.
