New Express Transportation: $19/day or $29/week-SERVICE ENDING AUGUST 23RD 2017

You can choose to buy a one day pass for this for $15 per person, or you can opt for a 7 day pass, at $24 per person.
The per week price is almost too good to be true as compared to the per day.
If they extend this service it wouldn't surprise me if the weekly rate were increased.

We will be there Jan 30th. Buying this addon will be the first thing we do.

Yeah, wow, do NOT get too used to the $24 a week price. That's insanely cheap by Disney's standards and the cost is very likely to go waaay up in no time. Especially after more and more people start knowing about the service.

Just back from my trip. We used this for our 4 park days and it was pretty much a hopping gamechanger. My sister and I loved it. Not having to go through security multiple times a day was the best part.

- It's not an upcharge - it's a new service that is completely optional.
- It will probably very much improve the experience for those guests who book it.
- I think they do work to improve overall experiences, but WDW is getting so big, personalized offerings seem to be in high demand. Selling out 4 mos of Highway in the Sky in 24 hours seems to nod to that.
- Business .......... provides supply to demand to make money. If the demand is there, and it is successful financially, good business move.
- None of the public's business how they are using their income, that is for them and the stockholders.
- FULLY believe the minute Disney (optional vacation) becomes a negative or reduced experience, it's time to find a new vacation. Vacation time is too precious. I have cut previous destinations and events because they no longer have the same value.

This hurts no one, if someone wants to pay Disney instead of Uber/Taxi to get somewhere, I don't care.

Haha, seated until your butt hurts. First time I rode I was so excited ....... until the point I wanted to jump off and swim. From then on I walk between the two parks. It's enjoyable, quiet and faster.

Correct, not an up charge. Just a way to get more money.

Yes, but instead of addressing the problem causing people to opt for Uber and cabs, they choose to set up a secondary pay system. Meanwhile, the issues with the main system remain (slow, crowded buses).

The correct term is "standing room only"

I hope they continue this indefinitely. We rarely spend a full day at only one park. It would be killer to go from MK to Epcot for lunch! This means much better lunch choices and SO, SO much easier then a bus from MK to BC with a walk over to the IG. That bus makes 3 resort stops.

Where is the drop bus stop at EPCOT?

near spaceship earth (actually before it as you would walk past it). epcot is a little trickier on where a bus can operate safely backstage because of it's shape and minimal road/space around the back.

It appears to be operated by the VIP tour group based on their uniforms and how they are so much better than any other cm. My guess is they wanted to improve the system that mainly uses white vans with minimal capacity between parks, get something more structured, possible get more revenue when it's off season for them. I can see it possibly being seasonal for anyone to buy a pass when the vip group isn't really busy so maybe not really seasonable but just some times where you can't use it.

PS - if you've used it and enjoyed it, don't forget to tell disney that so they get a "will remain by popular demand" situation. If you didn't enjoy it, please keep quiet so those of us that do find value can get it :)

Strikes me as cheap by any standards! Can't get a week's worth of ANYTHING for $24!! :)

It's ok. Still $100 for a family of four. A hundred bucks here a hundred bucks there. Pretty soon it adds up to real money. :)

We always park hop but I'll pass. Most hops for us involve a stop at the resort. I only occasionally go directly park to park.

Same here re: how we hop on most days. Not sure we'll ever use it much but I could see trying it at some point if it sticks around.

If one gets 1 coffee at Starbucks each day, they're paying more in a week than this. Not saying it doesn't add up, but for this service, seems relatively inexpensive to me.

did we ever find out if AP's can use this service? I will be staying on property for a week and part of my party is on PH and part have APs. I want to know if we can plan to use this. Thanks.

Yes, AP holders can use the service. The maximum service length of 7 days still applies.
