>> Refillable Mug FAQ <<

Just booked 6 nights at Poly followed by 3 nights at HHI, can we use the same mugs for both? (Activated once) I know you can use the same mugs at all WDW resorts but I don't know if they work at the beach resorts too.

For those of you who bring your mugs into the park, Im wondering why? You can only fill them at the resorts right?

That's true, you can only fill them at the resorts. But some people like to fill them up before they leave for the parks, and then drink on the way or at the parks.

Plus some guests like to pour what they get in a paper cup when they dine into their mug to carry with them in the park. Or get cold water in the mug.

And, when we get back on the bus, we head straight to the refill station to get a pop before walking back to our room.
The couple of times we took the cup to the park, we did the same thing. It is hard to walk past the refill station on the way to your room. Then pick up the cup for a refill.

It works for some. Not so much for others.

we bring them to the parks because we take breaks during the day, leaving the parks and going over to the monorail resorts to walk around. you can fill up the mugs at any resort. we have also taken from the park on a boat ride to wilderness lodge. it's nice to have free beverages when you are doing this. we enjoy strolling around other resorts, including beach and yacht clubs too.

What is the currant design on the mug? Is it different for each resort? Looking at an old mug from my last trip with a Pop Century mug.

This is awesome! Thanks for that idea. I definitely wouldn't have thought of that, and visiting some of the other resorts is on our to-do list this trip. Now we won't be thirsty while doing so. :lovestruc

Since there is no quick service at Yacht Club is there place(s) at Yacht Club I can fill the refillable mug? If I have to go to Beach Club to fill it where at Beach CLub can I fill it and how long does it take to walk to those places from Yacht Club?

At Yacht Club you can refill them at Ale and Compass.

At Beach Club you can refill them at The Marketplace, Hurricane Hanna's and Beaches and Cream.

At Ale and Compass, can you get a refill of juice or will they only give you soda (I thought they may give juice since a CM has to help you with it and it's not a machine that has only soda).
Also, my family doesn't drink much soda. What other options can we get at Hurricane Hanna's, Beaches and Cream and/or Ale & Compass?
Thanks!!!

In general the non-soda options include Minute Maid lemonade, Hi-C fruit punch, Powerade, iced tea, hot tea, hot chocolate, and coffee. The lemonade, fruit punch, and Powerade flavors/options can vary per resort/dispenser.

Thanks! As a follow-up, is it OK for my wife and I to share one mug (we aren't going to be on the dining plan) or is this against the rules? Don't want to cheat the system if this isn't allowed.

You can certainly use your purchased mug however you want, so if sharing one works, you're all set.
