News Round Up 2016

With looking more at the aerials of the entry and construction it wouldn't surprise me at all if the monorail and smaller boats continue to use the present security checkpoint and the buses and ferry go thru the new one under construction. As I really can't think of where they would come up with the space for security checks at the monorail hotels. But then again if you don't put security checks before the ferry and monorail that makes the ferry and monorail soft targets.

There were recent aerial photos, likely in this thread, showing construction already under way for a new security check point being built, in the green space next to the ferry dock, for those arriving by boat.

Does this mean eventually moving the ticket styles further out from the station to allow more people into the courtyard?

EDIT- Found the link- http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/2016/10/updated-aerial-imagery-of-walt-disney.html

Does that make the cut for Lockout's, only believe the shovels mantra?
That construction next to the ferry dock is done.

There are times when my family is not staying at a monorail resort, but we still have a meal at one. So we take the bus from our resort to MK and then the monorail to whatever resort we are eating at. What I don't like about the new security screening locations are that it seems we will have to get screened after taking the bus, and then again when we get on the monorail to return to MK to take a bus back to our resort, and we won't even be going into the park.

Same thing currently happens at Disneyland if you are staying at a hotel on Harbour Bvld and want to go to Downtown Disney - have to go through security to get into esplanade even if not going to a park

Technically, they just copied Skylanders, they didn't figure it out. But yeah, that game seemed like it would make them a ton.

I recall reading they took a hit by making too many of a lot of figures that proved to be unpopular (I assume they are buried in the same hole as the Atari E.T. Game cartridges)

Plus I think it was more the cost of the entire studio/department as nothing else was very popular

I am a bit surprised they didn't just move Fisney Infinity to a 3rd party developer and close down the department

just thinking what was shown so far could be jarring to some kids

Sorry late to the game, (stupid school and research papers)

You can't be serious about this though, it's Pixar!!! The opening scene to UP was about as traumatic as the first twenty minutes of Saving Private Ryan.

But I am pretty impressed with the tid-bit of animation we got. I'm thinking this might be better than 1.

This has the feel of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Hot Shot racer with great skills, devastating accident caused by villain, world changed, faces much adversity, love interest guides him through adversity, lessons are learned though adversity, uses lessons to win in a new way and beat the villain, hot shot racer celebrates as credits roll.

Fixed that for you.

I guess it is just the realism of it compared to the other Cars/Planes movies that are all cutsie versions of the vehicles

We,l they did figure how to turn the usual $59-79 video game into a $500-1000 game but then that is likely what killed it too.

The first round was a big hit - but I think they blew it with the 2.0 when they (A) made you rebuy the base for $80 and (B) made almost the entire game about Marvel. The game was rather repetitive in that version as well. By the 3.0 - I think people were mistrustful and from what I know 3.0 didn't sell well. They also had put so many properties out by this point. It was still disappointing that they canned the on-line community stuff as well though, because that was sort of the most interesting part of the game. I bought all 3 versions, but honestly never had the time to REALLY get into it, because you really needed to devote time to figure out how the toy box worked.
