Princess Billie & Her Royal Court ~ A Feb 2017 PTR ~ Update 7/24: That's A Wrap... Finally!

Monies, girl. Had to cancel several trips because if I don't get a better car, mine is going to fall out from under me soon. Adulting suuuuuucks. So after this February 2017 trip, I've got to put vacation money towards that instead. That's why the mother/daughter trip is now tentatively scheduled for September 2018. That gives me a year and a half in between trips to save save save.

Ahh, I was wondering why you always rent a car to go to Disney. Makes sense now. I had to do the same thing last spring. It was either put four grand into my car with well over a hundred thousand mies or suck it up and have a car payment again. Went with the later, but got a good deal at carmax

Unfortunately, with my budget being what it is, there's just no room for a car payment. So I'm stuck with trying to save up for a year or so, then getting the best use car I can find. Which means spending taking all the money I usually pour into vacationing, and instead save-save-saving!

My DD and I are going to be landing earlier on 2/24 than originally planned and @chunkymonkey and @LindseyJo22 and I are trying to organize a minor cocktail party for that night. Do you think you'll be able to join us that night for a drinky pooh?

Nope. For some of the bigger races, they will let you defer your entry fee until the following year. But for the 5K, you're just out the money.

Ugh, adulting happened at my house tonight - shingles for the house has eaten up all the rest of the travel budget until possibly 2019. But it's a sacrifice we have to make and it's not something we can cheap out on. Sigh, good thing my passes have no expiry date! Plus I'll keep trying for the lottery plan!

I hear that! Fortunately good things have happened lately as a result of my adulting, and it looks like I might be squeezing the September trip back in this year maybe. We'll see!
