Liberty Tree Menu Is Changing This Week

Where can I find the email address to complain to Disney?

I have two reservations for our next trip for the Pilgrims Feast. I don't want all the extras and yes, I know I could just not eat them, but what a waste and there won't likely be enough turkey.
I feel the same way. Not everyone wants to eat a gluttonous amount of food, we just wanted one course, then we are free to have snacks elsewhere when we are ready.

Does anyone know what the allergy-friendly offerings are?

We have a gluten sensitivity and another with soy, corn sensitivities.

The bread pudding only option isn't ideal. We have a reservation for dinner. I wonder if they'll offer an ice cream?

The pot roast is gone from the list of entrees (currently trying to ward of panic attack & hysterical tears). But since it's still on the kids menu & there is a picture of it on their webpage, I'm holding out hope that it's not really gone.

If anyone is there soon, would you post a picture of the menu, so we all know for sure what is available?

My husband is a little heartbroken about the pot roast. :

A menu refresh might be a good thing. I had the same experience with wilty salad in July.
I too had a wilted salad just two weeks ago! I think they make it far in advance and just let it sit. Anyway, i love the food there and out of all things on the menu, they better keep the pot roast AND the ooey gooey toffee cake! I'd give anything for those two right now!

If an adult wanted to order from the kids menu would they accommodate you here? Not interested in eating a huge portion for lunch. :guilty:

I agree with other posters regarding these changes in the lunch menu. While I wouldn't say we would not have lunch there again, I'm thinking it is not really a top-of-the-list option any more. Oh well. But I was curious - We have always had lunch there but I'm not sure we have ever had dinner. Can anyone comment on the dinner menu? It looks like there is one Appetizer (Declaration Salad), one Entree (Patriots Platter) and one dessert (Bread Pudding). Like I said, I don't remember ever eating dinner there, but I thought there were multiple options.

When I was there, they offered me an allergy friendly brownie with ice cream. Not sure what it was free of. With celiac, I only have to avoid gluten.

I just got a reservation for dinner since the dessert sounds really good.

Yeah, I wish they had made this change before we ate there in early September as I love bread pudding. The previous dessert wasn't very good - especially if you're not a huge apple lover. I've yet to have it, but the toffee cake at lunch has always been very popular (at least here on the boards). I'm surprised they never made that the dinner dessert. They seem determined to keep the dessert "apple-centric".

Just ate there today...had been looking forward to the pot roast for months....today I come in for lunch and my only option is the $33 patriot platter unless I want a generic cheeseburger I can get anywhere.

With a 2:00 reservation it still took a half hour to get seated. So I gorged myself on way more food than I actually wanted for a midday meal and our lunch bill tallies $75. Very disappointed. Im now back at the lodge with a tummy ache, too.

The turkey and fixings were good, but I was not planning to eat Thanksgiving dinner already.

well just because it is aycte doesn't mean you can't just eat one plate of food :) I'm not sure why that makes a difference, unless it's the price you are balking at. I would not cancel over that but that is me.

Paying $34, a large increase over the turkey dinner's price, managed to stop me in my tracks. We often could bop in with a same day reservation, expect those days are over.

Does anyone know the price of the AYCTE for lunch?

I am really disappointed with this change. I just want a turkey dinner, not all the other meats and not the salad.

At least no characters...would add on another $15 plus to the buffet.

Yes, last thing I want to do is eat a large thanksgiving type meal, then go tromp around in the heat/humidity for miles at WDW.

Yet another decent lunch options bites the dust @ MK.

Thank you for the update.
Did you notice if Child's menu still had pot roast? Still don't understand why they would have it as child's meal but not as adult meal. Did you ask if we can still order pot roast eventhough it's not on the menu?

And do you know if everyone had to order patriot platter? There will be 2 of us and I wonder if only one person can order patriot platter and other person order something else. Thank you

That's what I don't get either. Just fix yourself one serving and you're all set! Unless I'm missing something...:smooth:

I used to get the turkey dinner. It was turkey, mashed potatoes and I would get it with double green beans and no stuffing. The new lunch has a drink, salad, prime rib, pork roast, stuffing, macaroni and cheese and bread pudding in addition to the lunch I used to eat...all things I wouldn't eat and don't want to pay for.

I can't imagine that many people would want to eat that much for lunch. I really hope a lot of people complain and it goes back to normal before December. I see there is a kid's turkey meal. I hope I can order that if the regular menu options don't come back.

I don't think pot roast was available in any form. Guy at table next to me asked to order kiddie turkey dinner but they didn't let him. lol.

My wife got a vegetable pasta dish with shrimp, so you can still get a few ala carte offerings, but it is very limited. There is also a salad with salmon, but that is about the extent of it.

@ahelmes71, thank you. Too bad they won't let us order "kid's meal". lol!

So you ordered patriot platter and your wife ordered pasta dish? If both of us don't have to order Patriot Platter, it might work for us. My son might like the patriot platter but it's too much for me so I want to order pasta dish shrimp like your wife. Did she like the pasta?

I was never a fan of dinner at LTT, so I can't imagine that I'll like the AYCTE lunch offering very much. I know that this my 3rd post on this, but I'm just heartbroken if the pot roast is really gone. Our ADR is on Christmas day. I could've gotten Be Our Guest, but couldn't think of anything else I'd want more on Christmas than the pot roast. And it's too late to get an ADR somewhere else now.

Somehow, I don't think eating a Bacon Cheeseburger is going to feel like a special Christmas meal.
