>> Shipping To & From Disney Resorts FAQ <<

If I ship a box for our trip to Carribean Beach will they deliver it to our room or do we have to pick it up at the front desk?

It depends on the runners and when you check in. The runners receive a package, they verify that you have checked in and depending on how many packages/other assignments they deliver the packages (sometimes that is before you have entered the room and sometimes after). Now if you get there and the package is not in the room you can always go to the front desk and they have it you can pick it up.

Just received a package today from Amazon. Paid the extra for a same-day delivery (DW wanted a Cheshire cat Magic Slider and we learned from the shop they stopped selling those on property, hopefully Amazon still had them with Prime delivery) to the GF. Package arrived after 8pm, we could retrieve it directly from Bell Services. That was excellent timing and so nice to know these deliveries skip the Convention Center!

Fantastic to hear that Amazon goes straight through to Bell Services at GF. I was cringing at the thought of having to go to the convention center. Just one more thing to do.

I need some help regarding my upcoming trip to WDW. I will be staying at POR from September 3 to September 7 before moving over to AKL until September 13.
I already ordered some things online which I cannot get in Germany. When I placed my order it said that the items will be shipped in 2 weeks. That's why I ordered it for my stay at AKL. Unfortunately I just got an email that the order has been shipped already!! As I said I will arrive at WDW on September 3 but my stay at AKL is not before September 7. Does anybody know if they are going to hold the package at AKL until I check in on the 7th? Does it make sense to just go there next weekend and ask for my package? I would of course show them my hotel reservations for AKL and POR and my ID.

I am really concerned that I will not get my package!!
Thanks in advance!

No worries, they will hold your package at AKL. Bell Services likes to keep it under 7 days for holding packages, but due to a shipping mishap they have actually held a package for us for 12 days.

Thank you so much for the fast reply. I feel much better now!!

We made a Prime Now order last night and scheduled a delivery to GF SL this morning between 10am and 12pm. I spent 15 minutes with Bell Services trying to find where my package has been stored before he found out it has already been delivered to my room! This was so unexpected... (Bell guy did his best to help me find my package, he even invited me in the storage room where they put everything!)

We'll be staying at the GF soon and we're thinking about using Prime Now for the first time. This is probably a silly question but how did you fill out the address form? Did you put your room number on the form?

Assuming I am called Mickey Mouse, here is how I filled the address for both Amazon Prime and Amazon Prime Now:
  • Mickey Mouse, Sugar Loaf Room 6300
  • C/O DISNEY S GRAND FLORIDIAN RESORT AND SPA
  • 4401 FLORIDIAN WAY
  • LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL 32830-8451
  • United States
  • Phone: (407) 824-3000
Edited: the first post of this topic has all the hotel addresses.

so we are staying at all star music. we have tickets to the not so scary party. I delayed due to money ordering my son's costume with amazon prime. Amazon says it will arrive to my house the day we leave. I am driving and wont actually get to Disney till 3 days later. is it a problem having my package arrive early.

Not at all.

This thread is SO helpful, yay!

I'm doing a split stay for my honeymoon. Sept. 11-15 at VGF, Sept. 15-19 at Kidani, and Sept. 19-22 at BWV. Renting DVC points for all of them.

I bought a top from 2319 Threads to wear on the honeymoon. I had it mailed to my friends in NYC instead of having it mailed to my house in Canada because shipping was cheaper and faster, and my friends were going to bring it with them to my wedding which was two days ago.

But the shirt didn't make it in time. So now, my friend in NYC has the shirt. If she ships it now do you think it'll arrive at VGF in time, or should I address it to Kidani?? And do I address is to Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, or Villas at Grand Floridian, or does it matter?

Was also thinking about ordering a few other things, like Larabars, apples, etc. ...Anyone have recommendations on the best site to use for that? I've never done it before. And how far in advance would I need to order in time for it to arrive at VGF?

I guess whatever I order, I won't be able to pick up till September 12th, since we get in on the 11th, which is a Sunday?

Oh! And what is this weird 9 digit zip code thing? I thought US zip codes were only 5 numbers? This Canadian is confused :confused3

I am planning on ordering cases of water for our Oct. 14th trip. We are at Pop for the first 3 nights then SSR for the next 6. Is Amazon Prime the best way to go??? I used Costco years ago and I have heard that Staples is another good choice. For an arrival of Oct. 14th at Pop and Oct. 17th when should I order? Thanks :)

I used Prime Now last month at AoA and will use again next month at POFQ. Got my room text at noon and when I arrived my order was there too (I ordered from the airport that morning and asked for a 10am-12pm delivery. Hope you have a great trip. I'll be there at the same time. Will look for another person wearing Crimson. ROLL TIDE!

In the All Ears newsletter that came out today, someone wrote in and advised the following:
"Jillian writes: We just returned from an eight-day stay at Walt Disney World and I have a tip regarding package deliveries from stores like Amazon. We ordered items for our baby (diapers, wipes, formula, etc.) 10 days prior to our trip and had them shipped to All Star Sports. I received emails a few days prior to our check-in day that our packages were delivered. Because of this, I only packed enough baby items for our first day. When we checked in around noon time, I asked about our packages and was told that hotels have been so overwhelmed with the number of package deliveries in the past several months, they no longer have the space to store the packages on-site. Instead, packages are sent to an off-site location. When you check in, your packages are then called for... but it can take a few days to get them to you. About 75 percent of our stuff was located by midnight, the rest by the following day. Needless to say, it was a very stressful start to our vacation and I won't be doing that again."

Has anyone else heard or experienced this?
