Post pics of your Halloween costumes for MNSSHP

Here is our Starlord and Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm trying to find our Jack Sparrow and HM Ballroom dancer ghost.

We're supposed to be doing Doctor Who and the TARDIS this year, not sure if those will be finished in time. Might end up as Misty and Ash from pOkemon.

Wow! You guys look great!!

Horrible pic but it's the only one I could find this was last year, our little tinkerbell (daddy custom made her wings light up too) and we Disney bounded as Peter Pan and Wendy, well and there is my sister who went as dopey. This year no pics yet but it will be a little mermaid theme. I've started the costumes but no where near done yet! I'm getting so excited though but we need to hurry up because September will be here soon

image.jpeg So I'm Wendy this year but could this work for another year for Briar Rose?
Pulled it together from stuff in my closet

Don't forget about the costume rules:

Costume Guidelines

Before you brew up ideas for your next disguise—review our latest list of tips.
While we encourage creativity, we also value safety and good judgement. Please take a moment to read over our latest rules and regulations:

General
Disney reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests.
  • All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.
  • Costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
  • Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards.
For Guests ages 13 and under:
  • Costumes and some masks may be worn, as long as the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.

For Guests ages 14 and older:

  • Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
  • Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g. full-length Princess dresses)
  • Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
  • Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts, and hats are acceptable.
  • Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords, and tutus. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
  • May not wear masks of any kind.

For some reason Pennywise is not scary after the one before it....Or after the one on AHS. Poor Pennywise...he'll just have to float away.

I went as Russel from Up last year (last minute trip, last minute costume). I made the entire outfit about 4 days before I was leaving....dyed a white shirt and hat so they would match - the flag, hat and scarf all had embroidered logos and the badges were also all embroidered to match the movie.....taking my niece this year and have no idea what our costumes will be :)

DBF and I are going as the mad hatter and Alice (animated). They aren't 100% accurate but I think you will be able to tell. They aren't quite done yet ... I have 11 days!
Hopefully I can post on here when (if?) they are done.

I'm going as Rey with a couple upgrades to the costume that can be bought at the store. I will be using some medical wrap for the arm wraps, an actual leather band for the wrist instead of the foam one that comes with the costume, and an actual bag with double belt instead of the foam one with the costume. I'd love to bring her bow staff but I figured Disney would not allow that so I'm not buying one. The only thing I haven't decided is if I want to buy the hood part of the costume so I don't have to worry too much about my hair but I think it would be too hot to wear that. I like the costume because it is light weight which will be nice for the heat in September.

LOL that is the EXACT costume I ordered. I wonder how many of us Rey clones there will be bounding around ;)? Though I also ordered a Dorothy costume and was planning to choose between them...

It seemed to be the perfect Disney costume since it seems to be lightweight. I did update my costume a bit so I'll have a few different things besides the generic costume. I'm still trying to decide if I want to get the hood part of the costume or try to do my hair like Rey's.

Wow, great costume. Can't believe you did it 4 days before leaving. Good job!
