Haha! Yes! Hot Topic has had some great sales, and super cute Disney themed stuff. I've been stocking up and then tossing them into my suitcase. However, I am going to Disneyland in 9 weeks so it's partially for that.

I've found many neat Disney tees on line. I think I'm up to 6 now. And I have debated pulling them out of my closet and putting them in the basement, where I have my little packing area.
 
I have added another day on to my trip. We are now arriving on September 30, thanks to Southwest and their fare sale.:goodvibes
 
Once the kids were out of school for summer time started flying by. Don't know about y'all but now I'm starting to feel the panic of shopping list and packing list pressure. LOL!
 
I need to get my packing list in order and take inventory of all my travel amenities. I bought new luggage earlier this year, so I should do a trial run on packing to see how many bags we'll need now. Last time we stayed at CSR and were able to ship a lot of souvenirs back through their business center. We're at AoA this trip, so I need to figure out how to get souvenirs home this time.
But, all of that can wait until September, right? I'm enjoying being lazy at our pool this summer!
 
We're Oct 23-28, staying off-site Hilton Bonnet Creek property - using Hilton buses. Wanted to see if people think these plans are reasonable or too aggressive. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Party is me, wife, daughters 8 1/2 and 5 1/2 and mother-in-law mid-60s. 5-day park hopper. One night MNSSHP. Already have ADR listed below.

Sun Oct 23 arrive MCO at 12:30pm. Plan to arrive at MK 3pm and stay until 7pm. Eat at counter service and only stay in Fantasyland

Mon Oct 24 HS - arrive for rope drop. Lunch at 50s PT Diner 11:30am. Leave Park at 2pm. Rest, swim at hotel. EP for evening. Dinner at Marrakesh 6pm. Stay for Illuminations.

Tues Oct 25 AK - morning. Yak & Yeti lunch 11:45am. Leave Park at 2pm. Rest at hotel. MK at 6pm. Be Our Guest at 6:20pm. MNSSHP - was going to do this our last night, but because we got BOG, we're doing the party this day.

Wed Oct 26 EP - whenever we get there. Askershus 11:45 lunch. Leave park at 2pm. Rest, swim at hotel. Return to EP at night or possibly go back to HS for Fantasmic.

Thurs Oct 27 MK - Plaza for lunch - have res now, but I know it's going counter service by the time we visit, so may change this if there's anything else available. Goal is to do all of the other lands we haven't done. Leave park when everyone's tired. Rest, swim at hotel. Leaving kids with grammy for night and going to Downtown Disney w wife.

Fri Oct 28 - relaxed morning at hotel. Leave for airport at 10:30am. Depart MCO at 1:15pm.

Today marks 120 days out for me. Glad I'm getting a mini Disneyland trip to get me through this long wait!
 
I appreciate the ideas. We were already staying at a value. I looked at switching to one that was a little less a night, but I don't think the bus trade off would be worth it. I was already planning on mostly quick service. Currently I'm trying to see how much more I can squeeze out of my budget. I just wish I would have known before booking a second trip that we're going on in Aug. I would cancel it, except that we already paid for it. Thankfully I've still got some time to figure it out.

I agree, anything to go to Disney. I'm excited/anxious about the idea of going on my own. I'll be able to travel how I want which is a bonus.

The buses from the All Stars are just fine. I've stayed at the Pop and at 2 different All Stars. I really didn't see a difference in the buses. If you are counting every penny, switch.

I appreciate the insight, but this isn't an issue anymore. I don't count every penny, it was just an unexpected occurance and I had more of my vacation budget going other places. It's not worth it to me to move. The savings is barely $10 a night.
 
I'm so excited for Wilson Phillips!! Fingers still crossed for BIIM 10/5&10/6 for us. I'm going to be updating the Food & Wine Festival section later today as more info has become available!!

We'll be checking into Pop Century October 8th and staying until the 14th. Already have our MNSSHP party tickets for 10/10 and 10/13.

Can't wait.

1 thing that I am looking for is to see if there is a cancelled ADR thread for this month. If anyone has seen one, i would really appreciate it.

How much was it to ship stuff from the Business center? I have a feeling we will have this problem as well haha.
