Language on the shows getting a little too salty?

As another listener from almost the beginning (started to listen after the original radio hosts were gone), I agree! In fact, there use to be less "salty" talk when the show was not live. I can remember discussions of how Pete had to edit a lot of things out of the (at the time) audio podcast.

Thanks for chiming in!! Also, :welcome: to the boards! I hope to see you post here more often! :)

They are all just saying what is running through our minds already! I love it! It is what makes the Disney World show soooo much better than the Disneyland version. With no disrespect to the DL podcasters.....

I've noticed and it bugs me a little bit. I enjoy humor but I really don't appreciate sexual innuendo. DH says its because I'm a Midwestern prude. He also says I have no sense of humor but that's just not true. I think they should keep the show clean and accessible to everyone.

I guess you can take the girl out of Indiana but you can't take Indiana out of the girl.

Well, its not possible to make every show accessible to everyone :). I think its the 21st century and it's not like sexual innuendo is new. Heck, its in Shakespeare. And in the Disney cartoons. If its witty, I like it. If you don't, that's totally fine too. The point is that they like that sort of thing, and it's not their responsibility to add more or less because one or another person does or doesn't want it.

The DLR team has its own sense of humor and style. It's different than the WDW show for sure, but I wouldn't say one is "better" than the other - like their respective parks - they're different, and both fantastic :)

I assume by "GKTW" you mean "get Jes to the 10th anniversary meet" because those funds need raising ASAP! Lol.
But really, I'm keen, especially for charity!

Can I join in on this charity? We're both going to be there the same time in August, so someone might as well pay for us to get there in July!

No problems here, either. I'm probably a wee bit more socially conservative than many other DIS'rs but no worries with this. It's all in good fun. Innuendo is just that. We make of it what we will. I've only been watching for a few yrs but this past yr has been the most fun, witty & clever. The DIS Team have really hit their stride. Craig, Ryno & now Oliver are an absolute hit :-)

Yes. I absolutely love the Craig/Ryno/Oliver trifecta. They are really hitting their stride and have a great rapport.
I have noticed a few more salty jokes recently, sure, but I'm not bothered by them.

Plus, I often listen to the Dis in my car when I'm driving my 9-year-old around, and it's nowhere near the point where I'm uncomfortable having it on when he's around. Any innuendo that might come up would just go over his head.
