Club Villain

Seriously the best event we have ever booked at Disney.

I totally agree with you. The only event that rivals this was the Star Wars premiere party - but totally different type of events. But both were very well organized and run. Disney finally figured out how to create awesome events.

Just booked for 3/27. My teenagers are going to love it!!

Silly question - did you have to call or could you book online? I know when I tried to book for January, I had to call because the system was burping things back to me at the last step.

I did miss making that point. We were one of the last to leave and there was a "receiving line" of management CMs at the door. The man who appeared to be in charge stopped us and asked questions. One thing I told him was that it was probably the most organized, most fluid event we had been to and the staff (and there were so many) worked it like a machine.

Having been to both Unleashed the Villains events :scared1: I think that DHS is great for private parties (the SWW premiere and corporate events) for limited numbers in restricted areas but they can't handle the "parties" like MK. Building this flex theater to be able to host limited number "party" events - during park hours even - is such a smart move. And the fact they can totally change the decor in hours .... there could be multiple special events bookings every week that can be totally customized. This is the Disney I love to see at work!

I booked online. But my date is 3/26. I got too excited and mistyped lol.

We feel it was a bargain at $99 and still probably under priced at $129 for what you get, but in order to book a full room at each seating they need to keep that price attractive.

To compare:

Symphony Sky Dessert Party is $69 for Desserts, Specialty Drinks, Stein and viewing area (equal to a FP+) outside at stand up tables. Fireworks as well but you can see them with equal view for free.

Club Villain was $99 for Champagne outside at stand up tables, move inside to amazing decorations in event venue with assigned seating at tables for delicious Dinner Buffet, Desserts, Specialty Drinks, Beer, Wine, Dance Party, Musical Show and 4 Meet & Greet in highly themed sets with virtually no wait for 4 awesome characters. Room so decorated - there were many photo opportunities. Many more CMs clearing tables, assisting with food etc.

If you add up the items apart; Dinner buffet, Dessert party (since desserts much more than you find on buffets), champagne then free flowing alcohol, beer and wine, basically 4 FP+ to special characters, musical show, dance party with hard to see Dr. Facilier and all the CMs (worthy of a tip) you would be WAY over even the $129 price tag.

Seriously the best event we have ever booked at Disney.
I'm guessing yes, but in your opinion is it a bad idea to do both the 4:00 Club Villain and the Symphony Dessert Party on the same night?

Thanks - I had the link, just not sure whether it was actually working. I know before, I got up the point where you hit submit, or whatever the icon says, and I got a message to call. But that was when this has just opened up for booking and even the CM on the phone had a hard time finding it for me.

I just booked online. Took it a few minutes to take, but it finally did.

I know it's silly, but I really don't like calling Disney dining if I can avoid it. I think it's a holdover from those days when you had to go to those ridiculous lengths to eat at Cinderella's castle. Which I did exactly once and never again. I'd do it for this, though. :)

Same here. Hate calling them. Thankfully, this is booking online

You will be rushing from one event to the next (dinner lasts 2 hours) and will probably be too full to enjoy many desserts at the party, but if I only had one night at HS I'd still consider it.

This is what I thought also. I have gone on and booked the Dessert Party for a different night. I'd have to give up Illuminations, which I don't mind so much, it's not a favorite of mine.

I will be there the same night at the 4:45 time with my 12 year old villain loving daughter. Texted her at shook and she almost exploded with joy lol.

We booked the later event so we can take a break during the heat of the afternoon.

Now I'm plotting what to wear!

So, I missed a phone call 407-560-7315, guessing Disney calling about this opening up again. (My original reservation for March was canceled).
Called back, busy.
If anyone else got the phone call, could you let me know if it is worth me trying to contact them. (If they give us the original 99 price :))

I got it for March 5 at 4:15.....wanting the later one, but that one wasn't coming up......but I am going again!!
Can't wait. DH will be excited, he though he missed it.

Now weather to cancel my dining reservation at 12:30.

I really hope that's what they were calling to tell you - that you could re-book at the original price.
