That makes me feel better!! I know my son *needs* to be "shoved" into things to try it...and it was our last day...had to do it! I also had to drag him onto 7DMT -- good thing Disney loads so fast they didn't have time to notice his apprehension. Of course I dragged him off the ride crying too because he loved it. #being3 I'm sure we looked like awesome parents in line there...but seriously kid this was our FP time and it was finally a ride we could all do together!!

I've had to do that before. I know my middle daughter well enough to know I shouldn't even try to take her on something remotely coaster-like. She hated the Barnstormer. But my son went through a period where he acted terrified to go on anything. He balked at Livin' With the Land once.

I'm missing the fabulous Beach Club scent! Has anyone ordered Beach Club candles from an Etsy seller? Wondering how they are. I think there is a Bath and Body Works candle too. Which one?

Ooh - I just remembered something. The scent from Bath and Body is Rainkissed Leaves, isn't it? The last time I traveled for work, I was staying at this cool boutique hotel in Pittsburgh. The lotion/conditioner/shampoo left behind was that scent. It wasn't labeled Bath and Body, but it smelled the same and had the same picture on the label (sans the branding). I was so excited, I may have squealed.

Hi everyone,

We check in next Friday and as I was hauling out my luggage from the basement, I suddenly realized that I have not received any documentation whatsoever from Disney regarding our trip. I don't know if it's my TA who is to blame or does Disney not send out any luggage tags or booklets like they did in the past? I'm suddenly worried that I have nothing to show when I check in. I guess I could print off my MDE info so at least I have my reservation number?

I did not get anything either when we went this August except our magic bands and we booked with a travel agent. We did get the magic express confirmation also. I just printed my email receipt from my travel agent and printed out MDE. Did you get your magic bands?

I love how the deluxe resorts have a certain scent. I loved the GF scent. Cant wait to smell the BC

We are staying at BCV and have a 9:30 breakfast reservation at the Garden Grill with Chip and Dale. Will we be allowed to go through the International Gateway and walk through World Showcase to Garden Grill? TIA

Yes. The International Gateway opens at 9am, so you will have plenty of time to walk to the Land for your ADR.

They let people enter the parks for an early ADR at any of the park restaurants.

I had to drag my just-turned-4-year-old on to 7DMT in May. He was hysterical, despite the fast that he had ridden it several times last October (and loved it!). I'm surprised the CM actually let us put him on with the way he was carrying on!! But sorry, buddy, it was fast pass time - we'll deal with the emotional scars later

I should have done this in June on the class trip. There were a couple of 14 year olds who refused to go on rides like Test Track, Big Thunder and Splash Mountain when it was our Fast Pass time. But they were not my kids, so I couldn't force 'em. We made the kids walk through the Dinosaur line, and then when it came time to walk through and not ride, there was no time, so the kids had to ride.

And loved it, of course!

Are you staying onsite at the Dark Side? We have had one stay at the Portofino and 3 at the Hard Rock.

Thanks for asking. Yes we will be staying on site. Last time we went we stayed at the RPR so we could get the front of the line passes. That was awesome! Have to do the Harry Potter area again while we are in Florida.

Yes we did book the package with meal plan even. The only difference for this trip is that we didn't book ME. I tried to get in touch with my TA but she is away on holidays

Our TA received all of our paperwork. We only received the MB in the mail.

Mom (woodnymph) was on a mission last trip. She took some of the rainkissed leaves hand soap I gave her to the Beach Club and compared the scent while there. She said it wasn't a match. So the hunt is on!

Ugh, 3 months. We're there in 2 months. Have a garden view booked, which I think are closer to the lounge. Hope we won't hear pounding & drilling all day.


On the other hand, this is probably the only time we'll get to see the Presiential Suite!

If I remember correctly (from Jan 2010), I think it's bathrooms/showers/changing rooms. We'll be there in a week in a studio.
