***The Official April 2016 Thread!***

So happy I found this thread. Also from MA and going April 16-24th staying at All Star Movies. This is our 2nd trip for myself and my grandson who will be 16 when we go. OMG it's so far away :( My co worker leaves Sunday for her first ever trip and I am so jealous.....
Welcome!
...and, yes, I agree it does seem far away! I keep telling myself that having a long countdown is better than no countdown!!

Coral Reef is one place we have never tried... due mostly to the poor reviews and the people that I know in real life that have tried it found the food pretty lousy. You never know though?? If the menu appeals to you, try it out?

Welcome! I know it's far away but think of all the fun planning ahead! (haha, this is how I'm comforting myself)

I hate waiting for Jetblue to extend.... but July will be here before you know it! Anyone else waiting for airfare?

I am! Though we won't be getting our flights right away we want to have the prices so we can figure out the prices and figure out how much money we have to spend on it.

For april vacations we book the morning of the extension.... And then watch them climb as the days pass.

Joining in on this thread! My DM, DD and I will be at POP Century April 12-23. We just got back from a stay at POFQ May 2-8 and decided we need a longer trip this time!

Jetblue has always been 1 bag free per person... heard that may be changing so I should look into what fees they will charge? Last few years the cost between JB and southwest was barely anything, so we were glad we went with JB for the assigned seats. If they start charging high prices for the bags we may have to wait till oct for Southwest to extend. Ugh

I heard Jetblue was starting to charge for domestic bags before it was just international. I loved going on Jetblue but will be shopping around for flights. Have never flown Southwest, may give that a try depending upon price

Booked my flights - now it feels real :-)!!!
I told myself if I found some from Logan for April vaca under $400 I'd take them - found some on US Air for the dates I need for $388 each with one short lay over (which I'm totally fine with if it saves me a few bucks and my father just had a hip- replacement so he said he might be happy for some time to stretch his legs between flights).

Congrats on the airfare!!! I have done well booking with JB for prices as long as I book the morning they release. I need nonstop flights. So its either JB or SW, just hate waiting. I went onto JB site to play around with dates and times for Jan not that we are going but to see anything about the Baggage fees and it still states first bag flys free? No idea when this change will happen and how much they will charge? Anyone hear anything?

Personally, I really dislike Southwest. We're flying Southwest to Florida this summer and I've taken it twice before (once to Orlando, once to Ft. Lauderdale). The first time coming home was a nightmare but the second time was okay. I guess it has this summer's trip to redeem itself for me in my eyes before I make the decision to take it again (all three were not my choice - my best friend's mother bought the airfare the first time, my cousin the second, and my aunt wanted to use up the last of her SW points this time). But that's just personal opinion - the free seating sets my anxiety off and gives me really bad flashbacks to a myriad of Ryanair flights lol.

Yay! I've never flown US (yet) - I'm taking them to California this summer. I'll have to look at their site. Congrats!

I haven't flown US recently, but I figure as long as they get us there in one piece and on time then I'm happy. We flew Virgin to California recently and they were awesome, but they don't fly Boston to Orlando. The last time I went to FL we flew United and it was fine. I'm pretty go with the flow about which airline I take.

I used Virgin once for a roundtrip for grad school to argue my dissertation after I had already moved back home and loved them! I wish I could always use them lol. I just travel so much that without meaning to I've become very airline loyal!

Hi! I'm brand new here.. But I have a trip planned for April 6-10 2016. I have a work conference at the Contemporary from April 10 -12, so we're taking advantage of that to go. It's me, my husband and our 4 year old son.. Looking forward to suggestions!
