Next trip is November 2015' who's going us?

I am also a "on the fence" about Nov. I have been pricing packages for weeks, have all my notes in front of me, just have not made the leap to book yet.I almost took the plunge last night, but the booking system was down when I logged on,LOL!
But for us, its more of not knowing what life holds the upcoming months, rather then hinging the trip on fall promotions.
I know we could just cancel if things arise, so I should just go ahead and live, go ahead and book, right???? :flower1:

Exactly! You have up until 45 days to cancel with a full refund! I was worried about that as well. I am planning a trip November 14-20 but you never know what's going to happen in 7 months!!

Now all this time to obsessively plan hahaha!

We are officially booked! October 31 to November 8 at All Star Sports and my parents are joining us :) Booked last night -now onto finalizing plans for the May 4 ADR day :)

Why are so many posters in this thread booking and THEN hoping for free dining? Surely you should be doing that the other way around, no?

For us, we wanted the 1-bedroom at BLT and I was worried that it would be sold out by the time promos/PINS came out. If free dining or a room discount is offered, that would be awesome budget-wise but guaranteeing the room we wanted was more important.

We did the same thing. We booked the Little Mermaid room at Art of Animation, because we really want to stay there. We are hoping there is either a nice room discount or free dining. That way we can upgrade to the suite and take advantage of the deal. However, if it doesn't turn out to be a good deal for the dates we're going, we still be able to stay in the little mermaid room at art of animation. Which, those rooms go quick from what I hear.

If this should go in another thread, sorry ahead of time! We're looking at 28Nov-03Dec, but flights are $600 cheaper to fly in Friday night (27th, day after Thanksgiving). Problem is, it gets in SO late (9:10pm), we're thinking of staying at the Hyatt in the MCO airport then catching magical express early on Sat AM...because it's my paranoia that if we book for that Friday as a check in and some discounts come out, that day will likely be excluded.

Do you think it would be better to get a Friday checkin at our on site resort (Pop), or 2 sets of reservations at Pop (check in fri night, out sat AM/in sat AM), or do the airport thing? :(

Our party size is: My mom, my husband, and our 5 kids (ages 9, 6, 4, 2, 4mo) so we know it's 2 rooms no matter what we do!

SO. MANY. CHOICES. Thanks for helping with my sanity!! :)

Generally people book because they want to stay at a particular resort. Then when a discount comes out, they will call and ask for the discount to be applied. But that method can be dangerous. The phone lines get crazy when the discount is released, so it takes a while. Plus resorts are included or excluded in promotions based on how full they are! So you run the risk of your resort being excluded. It happened with POR, but it was eventually included.

We booked a bounce back for our dates but only a couple of days are discounted. If(when) Free Dining comes out, I will make a whole new reservation online, then cancel the bounce back. Should be more efficient.

Now can you hold 2 separate reservations on MDE? Or do you book them on separate accounts? Thanks!

I'm hoping to go November 30-December 6th and stay at BoardWalk Inn - Outer Bldg Garden Room Club Level, but haven't booked anything yet. I have an AP so I'm hoping an AP rate comes out for that time.

We are planning to go Nov 12-18th but have not booked yet. I'm trying to wait to see what discounts come out. I don't want to make a ressie and pay my deposit, have a discount come out and have to rebook or be on hold forever. We'll see, I'm getting antsy.

We're in!!!!! We'll be home 11/27-12-5. Booked at POR but hoping for a good fall promotion. Our first trip with the newest two grandbabies. We can't wait for the look on the girls faces!!

Kinda is my mind set, but in checking this morning...I'm finding no availability for the first week of Nov in several resorts. I know it's Jersey week, wine and dine, but wow. I was surprised. Now, I don't know what to do.

Just switched resorts AGAIN to save some money. WL was a great idea, but the cost was way too much for just myself. I saved over $1,300 switching. I am now booked at POR in a royal room for Nov 5-14th!!! I loved the Royal Rooms when I stayed in one in 2013. I even added the regular dining plan and still saved over $1,300, so it would have been stupid of me not to switch. I don't even care about discounts now, getting a RO would be great and I know free dining is out of the question. Friends of mine just booked the same week at AoA LM room! So excited to spend time with them down there!

Wine and Dine is going to be crazy this year. It sold out in less than 30 minutes. I think that week/end is going to be a perfect storm for many reasons. Jersey week, W&D, F&W, MVMCP...

I need to check on rooms and probably book and deal with discounts if they come out. At least get my deposit in.

I have done it before on my one account. They didn't cancel it or ask about it immediately. Of course, I haven't done it in the new MDE app world so who knows? We shall see ...

We ended up doing this because the mods were filling up it seems (we're going 10/31 to 11/8). I didn't seem to have problems pricing rooms through 11/6 but added the weekend was tough. We just booked last Thursday.

Yes, you can hold multiple reservations on MDE...I have a couple now and will probably be adding a third when free dining comes out. Once I figure out what the cheapest option for me will be, I'll be cancelling the others.

I know many people who make and manage reservations for different family groups, all in their name, so I don't think this is an issue for Disney.

Just booked my Nov 19-27 trip online with free dining for CSR! The offer is now live on the web site! If you haven't booked yet, DO IT NOW!!!

With free dining live, I just booked our 11/14-11/21 trip.

So now that I'm booked, what's left to do? Order the Magicbands, Book our Flight, Supply Magical Express with the flight info, Dining Reservations at the 180 day mark, Fastpass reservations at the 60 day mark...what did I miss?

Edit: Holy cheese picking a Magicband color is hard. :P
