"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

Just bought my tickets for Sept. 27th. I'm down in WDW for a convention and am going to take my co-worker to the party with me. She's never been and I know she's going to love it!

Anyone remember when the Villains Soiree was announced last year? I could swear it wasn't when tickets went on sale, I thought it was way closer to the first party like a month or 2 before? July or August? I called the ticket number and asked about it. The CM stated that they have "heard that it is not coming back this year" so its not official its as good as "a bus driver told me" we will just keep our eyes and EARS open

If I remember right it was announced at the end of August right before the first events in Sept.

I hope they do another event similar to the soiree, I've booked for the 31/10 party and was planning on trying to get a reservation if they open up. First trip to WDW so if they don't run the soiree I guess there will still be tonnes to see and do at the party for a first timer!

Got mine for Halloween night also! I figure since that whole week tends to sells out anyway I may as well go on the holiday! :)

We are planning on being in the area Sept 26 - Oct 3. There are 3 party nights during our stay - Sun Sep 27, Thurs Oct 1 or Fri Oct 2. I was hoping for a Tuesday but there isn't one that week. I know Fridays are busier because of the locals, so that narrows me down to two dates - Sep 27 or Oct 1. Which dates would you pick for lesser crowds?

Just bought our tickets for Halloween Night!!! First time going to the party! My daughter and I are so exceited!

Just bought ours for Sept 22! Super excited! This will be our first time going to MNSSHP, and our daughter doesn't know about it. :)

Forgive me for a silly question but my mom is the DVC holder and I'm planning the trip. How can DVC members purchase the passes with their discount? TIA!

Hey guys. Was just hoping you might be able to offer us some advice. Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere at some point.

We are going to Florida in October and we're doing a split stay (a week on I-Drive with Universal tickets, two weeks in a Disney resort with Disney tickets) but won't have started our Disney portion of our trip when the Halloween Parties are on. We want to go but we're not sure how it works with us being in the UK and Magic Bands not shipping to the UK and the fact that we won't have started using the bands when the Halloween parties take place. Could anyone help us with how we should go about ordering tickets for the 1st Nov party?

Buy the tickets and either print them out or pick them up at will call. You will have to pay to park at the TTC.

Print your tickets at home and drive to the TTC or take a taxi

We bought our tickets today! We've done the Christmas party before but never the Halloween party. We did the Halloween party at Disneyland in 2013 and are really looking forward to this one!

Definitely do Thursday. Friday's are big draws for locals. You *should* be safe in waiting until the week before, but it is impossible to know for sure.
Not sure about this. I think many of the parties sold out last year, even ones that usually have tickets available on the day of the event.

Yes, I know, but historically, that date is not one of them. The usual sellouts are the last Friday in Sept, the parties around Halloween, and the parties over Columbus Day weekend and week.
