DDC XXXII: A Dole Whip in Paradise

Morning guys! Welcome to everyone who wasnt here the last time I posted, its my Friday, and I picked the car up this morning from the garage. The old Outback has 230K miles on her, but she's built like a tank. I think a tune up and some fuel injector cleaner and she should be good to go. I might even keep that car and give my yaris to the daughter for drivers ed.

Interesting. Looks like an initial roll out trial for just BG Tampa. I wonder if they will eventually expand it to the Sea World parks and BG Williamsburg?

Just installed the app. Very strange app. I have AP's to the Williamsburg park and it connected me to that park. But I cannot find anywhere in the app the change to a different park. Not sure how this is going to help me in Tampa. It IS nice that it can connect to my online BG account. Unfortunately, they do not have any sort of FP system or even dining reservations (everything is QS dining at BG).

It does seem like they have high hopes for the app, though, after reading this article:

For now... not sure how I feel about it. It DOES have a handy car finder function!

No.... haven't tried the dining package there. Although we have purchased several dining passes at BGW and they are good for the rest of the year. Definitely a good savings.

Welcome, condolences, congrats to all in need.
And happy End of School to all the DIS kids out there.. Our DS's last day was yesterday. Moving on to 3rd next year, if he survives the summer. He was playing with a tool this past Sunday - re-enacting something out of a Lego video, no doubt - and managed to chip one of his incisors. Yeah, one of the big ones front and center. Nice goin' there, bud! (can I use that one again ? ) He already had a dentist appt set up for this Friday, and there wasn't any blood or pain, so we're just letting it roll until then.
Think he'll listen to me now? Nah, I don't either...

Having been up here for a while, I forget that kids are already getting out for the summer. Daughter has another month before she's out. I cant believe she's going to be done with 1st grade!! Thankfully no dating or driving in the too distant future.

As Girl Guides and Boy Scouts start to wrap up for the year, should be able to find a bit more free time.

I am alive, just been really busy. I do try to pop in and catch up on what's going on around here just not enough time to post or comment on stuff. If you are going to stop by, just keep in mind we are closed on Sunday and Monday. Hope you do make it in!

I have been looking into opening another location . The spot that I having wanting for the last year or so might be coming available in the next couple of weeks, in the mean time my second choice just came available, this one is right by our kids high school. I have had conversations with both landlords and basically came up with a deal on the second choice. The first choice location could become available, I am worried that if I don't jump on the second choice in hopes of the first choice I may lose out on both.


Decisions, decisions....

I hope all of that kinda makes sense. Lol

If I do it would be tomorrow evening, around your dinner rush...

I am dropping DS off for the weekend, he is camping at Warsaw Caves, then I am turning around and heading home.

So if there's time on the way there I'll try to stop in.

He comes home Sunday, but another family is going to bring him back. We are carpooling...

Sitting in the public school foyer waiting for my youngest. As an outgoing Kindergartener, She was chosen to be a Kindergarten Ambassador for the incoming student orientation tonight. Principal walked by telling me she is doing a marvellous job showing the new kids the ropes.

Our kids go to school until the end of June here...

Wow, same here, imagine that. Heh. I remember a time we at least had the last week of June off.

I've got one graduating and dating, another learning to drive. Thank goodness for the seven year old. I've learned my lesson and I'm never going to let her do either one.
