To be a woman and hate shopping for shoes?! :rotfl2:

I need to buy a pair of black dress heels for a function on Friday night, and I am dreading going shopping for them! I admit it- I am not a shoe or a purse girl. What's wrong with me?! ;)

Yes it's possible. I hate shopping for shoes, almost as much as I hate shopping for bathing suits, lol!

I dislike shopping except for groceries which I find relaxing.

I don't even like shoes.
:lmao:

Wow.. another girl exists like that!!!? You and I are in the same boat. I hate shoes, I hate purses. They just aren't important to me lol

Yep. I used to have three pairs of shoes: sneakers, black flats, and tan flats.

I've expanded a bit, but more variations on a theme. I've started just going online for them.

I have a black purse and a brown purse. Mostly, I just put my wallet in my briefcase for work.

i used to love shopping for shoes and clothes. Now that clothes and shoes are super ugly I hate it.

I'm the SAME WAY. I can pick out things I like...but not necessarily ones that look good on me,or compliment an outfit.

I hate shopping! It has gotten so bad all of my clothes are either stained or have holes:sad2: I haven't had a job for awhile and I just told DH that I can't afford to get a job cause I don't have any clothes to wear.:scared1:

My mother in law buys me a $50 jcpenneys GC for my birthday and Christmas every year and I hold on to them and buy the kids back to school clothes with them! I think she is hinting, but I don't like their fuller figure clothes.

It is possible. I'm a girl and I hate designing things and picking out colors for things.

oh yes, OP, it's entirely possible. i HAAAAAAATE shopping for shoes. so much so, that i wore my black dress shoes completely out-they were in such bad shape, i found a hole in the side of the right shoe where my pinky toe would be. i am now putting off buying a new pair by wearing the cheap, ill-fitting pair of black dress shoes i got at payless for my aunt's funeral 4 years ago-i had to stop there on the way to the funeral to buy a pair of pantyhose and black dress shoes, because i didn't even have any!

I hate shopping for anything except flip flops and jewelry (ok, the occasional Coach bag too). I think if I was ever the perfect size 6 or 8 it would be alot more fun than trying to dress my extra #25 that I've carried my entire life:laughing:

When I absolutely have to have jeans or a bathing suit, it can put my in a tizzy for weeks. Now I'm trying to shop for a wedding gown, imagine that when I can't even find jeans I think look good, not fun:sad2:

I don't own a pair of dress shoes either. Well, I do, but they are open toe, and I am not wearing open toed shoes with snow on the ground. The closed toe dress shoes I have, I have owned since about 1992! LOL They are so out of style that I am embarrassed to wear them to this semi-formal function! I don't own hose either- will have to buy those too. I don't dress up- pretty much never. Weddings, funerals- and now this semi formal event. I teach preschool- I wear flats and khakis! LOL

I wish that were true of the women in my life.

I hate shopping when I am looking for something specific. Nothing seems to be what I am looking for or "just right".

I love shopping when I have free range though!

I hate shopping in general, as I'm very hard to fit (short waisted, but long legged).

Shoes are a particular problem - I'm a wide-and-a-half - so wides aren't wide enough and double wides are too wide. :sad2:

I could shop for shoes all day long. I love shoes. I have over 80 pairs and love them all. Ironically though, I have no snow appropriate shoes or boots. I need to get a pair. Ohhh, I can go shopping :lmao:

Good luck with that. I hate all shopping, but there is a special place in Hell for shoes. I have flat feet, so even as a child I had trouble with fittings. Now that I'm older, I have a lot of recovered foot injuries and foot deformities from arthritis so it makes finding shoes extremely trying. Forget finding anything pretty,I can't even find something that fits!

My DD19 doesn't get it...yet...She loves nothing better than buying shoes! but I look at her tiny, high-arched feet with her fractures and the ingrown nails caused by years of dancing and I think she needs to start saving her money. She's going to need those same expensice, ugly, orthopedic/granny shoes that I have now.
