12-12-12 Ideas?

It's official! We will be at WDW all day on 12-12-12. Does anyone know if anything special will be going on or if there will be special merchandise? Anyone have special plans to commemorate the date? We're trying to come up with a plan for 12:12:12 on 12-12-12 and plan on being in the Magic Kingdom.

We'll be in AK that day. Honestly we had weddings to go to on 10/10/10, and 11/11/11 (which was also my DS's birthday) that we had to fly out of state for, so I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing day at Disney for 12/12/12. That's even an ADR-free day for us.

Well..... since my trip is paid in full and dining is free, this does absolutely nothing for me.

But seriously, I cannot wait for our first Disney World trip at Christmas. We are getting so excited to see all the festivities and decorations at the most wonderful time of the year.

I was just looking at the calendar the other day and realized this will be the last date like that in my lifetime so I see 12-12-12 as a little more special than 11-11-11 or 10-10-10. There will be no 13-13-13- or 14-14-14-, etc. My daughter, on the other hand, could live to 01-01-01.

We have reservations at Hollywood Brown Derby to Dine with an Imagineer on 12-12-12. That should make it even more memorable!

Sounds better then Y2K which never amounted to much.

We have a DD born on 05-05-05 and it is just plain fun to celebrate.

Never really thought about this year being the end of these fun dates, so sad!

Also have an older DS who had a blast on his 9th birthday on 9-9-99.

Come on Disney we will be there on 12-12-12 as well, give us something fun!

12-12 is my birthday! There might be some special things going on but not at Disney I won't be there until Jan 2. I remember when I turned 12 on 12-12 and thought how cool it would be when my birthday was 12-12-12. That reminds me, my license expires that day.
