Hello,
I am looking forward to my first stay at WL in mid-December! We have some late dinner reservations, and I am wondering if you WL experts can tell me what/if any Disney transportation might be available for us to return to the Lodge from the following reservations? If it's necessary to make transportation easier, I may move some of these reservations an hour earlier where possible. Thank you!
8:30 pm Hoop De Doo Revue
9 pm Citricos
8:50 pm California Grill
8:55 pm Ohana
7:15 pm Jiko
The Jiko ADR might be the only one where you could take a bus back to the MK and then a boat to WL or the bus. They stop operating about 1 - 1.5 hours after park closing, so if the MK closes at 9, you can take the bus/boat till 10 - 10:30. If there is PM EMH, then you should be fine. You can also take the Blue Flag boat from the CR or from HDDR (FW) until about 11:30. You can walk to the CR's boat from the MK.
Love your Bay Lake split
The WL IPO rocks....I really get nervous whenever I change back to WL....they must be shocked my reservation has been intact for almost 3 weeks
I am
that guest that all the CMs are warned about
So I reached out yesterday, as tomorrow is online check in day, and I can access anything on the website...within an hour I received a pleasant response assuring me not to worry that all is taken care of!
Thank you for loving my new and improved split.
Don't forget that the WL IPO is based at the Poly and they also serve Poly guests, so not only do they remember all your WL changes, but they probably also remember your Poly changes. Remember all the times you booked the suite? Well, they do, too
Hi everyone,
Just a quick post to join in the fun. We are going back to WL for our second onsite stay. This time we're staying CL.
We fell in love with WL in January 2012 and have now booked a trip for February 2013 to celebrate my DS's birthday. He'll be 7 and wants to ride Soarin' on his birthday so we almost booked an Epcot area resort.
(Ok, we did book YC and changed within a week of putting our deposit down......).
I love this information on this thread, and now that we've been there once, we can spend some energy discovering the things we didn't get a chance to in January. I've been following this thread for a while, and I have to say,
everytime I see WDWKOOK post, your "handle" makes me smile.
YES! A poster who is smiling and wants to have some good, clean posting fun
. Grab a rocker and sit a spell - we're all about fun and we're so happy you could join us,
pld5!
Happy to have found this thread!! Our ladies trip is coming up in Oct & hoping for AP rates to come out SOON!!!! I've been wanting to stay at WL & just haven't gotten there.
Hopefully this trip will come together!!!
I saw a few pics of the refurbished rooms here. Does anyone else have new pics???
I will be taking some of my own photos in just a few weeks. I'm going to have to post a new thread before I go on vacation, but I'll update it next month with more rehabbed room photos.
Happy to have the
DIS Ladies Club joining in -
Tara was getting lonely.
This is one of my "partners in crime" LOL!!!! Everyone is so nice on this thread Linda!!!
I'm in a WL mood today - hoping for AP rates to come out soon!
Last year, I saw an ad in a magazine with a photo of a Coho Salmon and I got very emotional because it reminded me of WL and AP and later in the day I ended up extending our WL stay. I'm hopeless. Act when the mood strikes you - but, always use a discount
KOOK is the hostess with the mostess
I have a mental picture of you ladies with six shooters, lassos, cowgirl hats with Mickey ears...in the CL lounge eating cobbler
I hope you all get your WL stay!!!!
And I agree....everyone is very nice here
You're the bestest.
I love your mental picture of the
DLC. Musket Mickey could be their mascot
.
Oh yay! A 1 BR at BLT sounds fabulous!
Oh, I'm glad you think so. I'm really curious what our first villa experience will be like. Having our own bedroom, balcony, bathroom and washer/dryer and being able to walk to the MK has so much potential!
I think we're more like women on the way to the funny farm!
And enjoying every moment! This will be our 5th (I think) vacation together! We met on the DIS!!
I think WDW helps us to stay away from the funny farm - it's therapeutic. If I get upset or concerned about something and I tell DH that maybe we should cancel our next trip because I just don't 'feel' like going, he's always emphatic that I not cancel because he knows how much I look forward to planning and going.
I hope you have a great time with all your DIS friends in October.
That's wonderful...my besties are all Dis ladies
