***Post Your MNSSHP Costume Ideas***

Unfortunately my DD outgrew this before it could be used for a MNSSHP, but we had it for Hershey Park one year. Yes, the eyes and mouth are set up with built in LED lights to glow at night!

-This one comes straight from my imagination...Lady Dream Finder! LOL...I know, I know it sounds crazy but I was thinking I could get a Victorian style/steam punk female version of Dream Finder's blue suit and a top hat complete with blue ribbon. I would bring my 1992 Figment plush around with me through out MK like how they used to do at EPCOT with the real (puppet) Figment.

So many choices! At least I have until October to decide

Do this one! "It's so crazy it just might work!" There will be so many other flappers, Alices, and lady pirates - but this one is amazing. DO IT!

I'm in charge of costumes this year, and I can't post pictures yet (none of them are complete) but my family is going with an Up! theme.

My dad (who goes by COG--crotchety old guy) will, of course, be Carl Fredrickson. Does anyone think there will be problems with him having a cane?

My mom will be Ellie in her zookeeper costume

My brother will be Russell

and I will be Kevin (feathery skirt, kevin inspired face paint, and feather clip in my hair)

Can't wait to see if these come together as well as I hope they do!

I am going to my first halloween party this year at disney!!!! I am so excited, but I have no idea what me or my family could be. Going to the party will be; me(13), my brother(10), my mom, and my grammy. We are all willing to dress-up if we can think of ideas! Does anyone hav any ideas?

Does anyone have a Mother Gothel dress I could borrow for this year's MNSSHP? lol... I am horrible at sewing (believe me, I've tried) and DD is going to be Rapunzel. I would gladly pay a rental fee, shipping both ways and take care of it PM me if anyone can help!

I went as Mother Gothel last year-my dd3 was Rapunzel. I found a dark red and black dress that I think was supposed to be a medieval type vampire. I had a black hooded floor length cape from AGES ago, and I got a wig that was perfect at party city. I went to several Halloween stores and there were many dresses that would have worked. On Halloween, everyone knew who I was supposed to be, especially next to my daughter.

yes, i just saw one on line. like the pp said it was a medieval type dress and i thought to myself that would be perfect for mother gothel!!

i am sure you can find one similar in a local costume shop, if not you definitely can find one online

Yeah, we had no clue who you guys were supposed to be last year. My son guessed Lady Gaga back up dancer, or the "snap into a slim jim" guy.

I've been working on putting together my costume for MNSSHP.

The only thing I bought was the skirt, $20 from Fossil. The shirt I already had. I bought it clearance at Old Navy last year for $3. Pirate hat is garage sale. Scarf was a gift. Gun is DS, I'm hoping to get my own for cheap. I want to tie a black or purple crown royal bag to the sash and fill it with gold and silver Mardi Gras doubloons. I could only find gold crown bags for the picture though. I know we have some black or purple ones around here somewhere. I will get black knee high socks to give it the high black boot look. I will wear sneakers at Disney though. I plan to add big hoop earrings and maybe some dangly bracelets??

My hubby is not a "costume" guy, but I am trying to convince him to go as Shaggy and I would be Velma (from scooby doo). I am going to try to convince my daughter to be Daphne. He's not going for it. Really? All you have to wear is a green v-neck t-shirt and some dark brown pants!!
