Well, I'm still waiting on the Fed Ex truck to find my house, but in the meantime OMDD has caused me to find a new hobby - entering sweeps.

Since last month I have won: three t-shirts, a pizza, a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese, a music download, a set of earbuds, a mini football, a box of Uncrustables, a LeapFrog DVD, a $15 Amazon gift card, and a $100 Amazon gift card.

I may have missed this, but has anybody posted the dates you get to pick from when you win? I'm a teacher, and my fear is that I will finally win and all the date choices will be during school when I can't go.

Summer is open. The black out is for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and sometime in April, but you would be in school then (unless it's Easter break).

The fourth of July (2-5th) is also blacked out. We can also only go in the summer so we're having to pick a date before the 4th and a date after.

Oh, and April isn't blacked out for Disneyland but it is for WDW.

Oh yeah, I scanned in and returned my form today too. I chose October 6-11th. That's it. If those dates are rejected, they will contact me to pick different dates. Now, do you think I can switch to WDW if my October dates are rejected?

Did she tell you that if the one date wouldn't work then she'd contact you? There's really only one date that works for us, but we could chose a second if we had to. I'd rather only send the one date in to start with but I forgot to ask if that was okay.

And I'm sure they'd let you switch to WDW if you can't get the date you want. It's not like anything has been booked or anything. Hmmm, I wonder if they'll verify with us before they book everything. Just thought about that now.

Does anyone know when the holiday lights go up at Disneyland? And when the holiday It's a Small World normally opens? I would hate to pick dates thinking I'll be there for holiday decorations only to find out we went too early.

Assuming that they are, they send us an itinerary, which we will then go over. If every thing is okay, then they will book it. If you want to make changes, that is when you do so. She said it's more difficult to make the changes after you've booked, that's why they send you an itinerary to check first.

I have heard that they go up right after Halloween, so if you went in November before Thanksgiving, or after Thanksgiving, you would see the ornaments, which IMHO, are totally gorgeous. And they make it snow on Main Street.

Hmm that's some good info to know! I wonder if that will be the case for those of us that chose WDW. I know we want to be down there for DD2's 1st birthday so if that date isn't available we'd have to fudge things a bit. I wonder if the Saturday stay is for the airfare or hotel also.

My letter says "Travel dates must include a Saturday night stay for the air portion of your prize package."

Cool, thanks for letting me know. I didn't ask her how it was going to work. I was hoping they'd verify everything before booking it. The paperwork does say that we can be charged up to $150/person to change the tickets so I definitely don't want that! I'm also requesting GCH and I'll cross my fingers.
