That a good question, no one really knows some people think he's the queen huntsmen, some think he the sherieff from Robin Hood. I have even heard maybe he from red riding hoodl

I don't think he's evil (at least I hope not) so I leaning more towards the huntsman than Sheriff. I have to agree he's easy on the eyes and seems to have some chemistry going with Emma.

I thought it was cute the way they had established a connection between Emma and Henry and Snow White with the chocolate-cinnamon thing and in the last show they established a connection between Charming and Emma with the whole "finding people" thing.

Do you think it's possible that the sheriff is related to Charming too? Since he also shares the finding people trait? I guess that would rule out any romance with Emma though...

Good point. I don't see any romance there yet, so I guess he could be related...but somehow I don't get the "prince" vibe from him. I vote that he's the huntsman (until I change my mind as things develop).

I'm thinking he can be both the Huntsman and related to the Prince.
I just thought that there was some significance when he said something about how he finds people, and henry turned to Emma and said "I thought that's what you do?". It made me think of the whole cinnamon thing.
I'm sure my opinion on that will change though, I had many theories during lost and they changed as often as there were new episodes! :rotfl:

Interesting, but how? Wasn't she the first born and the spell happened just minutes after she was born?

Wait....I got it. Charming did marry the girl in the carriage and they had a boy before divorcing so he could marry Snow White. ;)

I was thinking they might be brother and sister too, but I think it's more likely they are cousins or something. Maybe the huntsman is Charming's brother? Or Cinderella's prince charming is related to Snow White's prince Charming? (they are both named prince Charming in the fairytales right?)
I don't know, but I do think they are related in someway....(a theory I'm sure will change just as soon as a new episode airs)
Henry found Emma, who is good at finding people (and says she always has been). Charming say's he'll always find Snow. The sheriff says finding people is his thing (or something like that, I don't remember the exact words), and obviously a huntsman would be good at finding people too.
At first I thought the Huntsman would end up being Prince Charming, but obviously that's not the case because Snow would have recognized him when he chased her for robbing the carriage, and he would have recognized her.

I was thinking maybe the queen had the hots for huntsmen, and the huntsmen had the hots for Snow White, and that why he couldn't kill her. That Why the queen hates snow white

I was thinking the same thing! Maybe Snow and the huntsman have a boy together...

Hummm.... but she has the ring. :confused3 I doubt that he would give the same ring to Snow White that he gave to his first wife.:scratchin

Wasn't Cinderella's husband Prince Charming too? Do you think the two prince Charmings will end up being brothers?

Exactly!! Cinderella's fella was Prince Charming. Snow White's was simply "the Prince". So far, that's the biggest "oops" for me ~ haha! (And yes, I know it's a re-telling, mish-mash of fairy tales so they can do whatever they want.)

Does anyone else think that Mr. Gold wrote the story book? I think he did and gave it to snow white to get the ball going.

OOOH, I haven't thought of that -- I like it!

So far, I LOVE this show...my favorite new one of the season! Watching the previews on Sunday, I'm not sure I wanna see my Cinderella pregnant...never imagined her that way before. ;)

My family has really been enjoying watching this show together too. I hope that ABC/Disney will keep this a family show though, it already is a bit akward with Red Riding Hood being a tramp that wants to "sleep her way up and down the coast."

I really hope that ABC will realize that (IMO) people are looking for more good family shows on TV and not just more sex. Their other shows this season make me doubt it.

Please keep this a show I can continue to watch with my kids.

ITA, 100% :thumbsup2
I LOVE having a show that I can watch as a family! I didn't even bother pre-screening this week's episode, though with a pregnant Cinderella next week, I might have to!
There is enough drama to keep DH interested, and enough fairy tale to keep the kids interested. I love it!
Although it took a few weeks for DS7 to get the continuity of Storybrooke is happening now, and fairytale land was 28 years ago. The second episode really messed him up... I almost turned it off so I didn't have to explain for the millionth time, "This is not a new curse. This is the same curse. They are just showing you how it happened." It was frustrating!
I was thinking Dr. Whale is the big bad wolf: his overwhelming interest in Red Riding Hood, he seems to be working with Regina- which puts him in the villian category, and his last name also happens to be an animal that starts with a W. (OK, that last one is a stretch!)
The other thing this week that really, really got me was that Charming's "wife" said that he's been missing for 2 years. Two years is very specific. Everyone else in the town uses "for as long as I can remember" or "for a long time"- never specific dates. hmmm. But judging from her level of emotion, I really do think that she believes her own story, which leads me to believe that Regina really DID cast a spell on her, like she told Emma, "What, do you think I cast a spell on her?" My DD8 yelled at the TV< "Yes, she did! She did cast a spell!" lol!
Finally, I don't know if I am getting old, or crazy but Mr. Gold seems a bit :lovestruc to me. crazy, I know. Must be the seductive power of the dark side!!

That was a big complaint from me when I first heard things about the series. I like how they explained it in the last episode and that it was a nickname she gave him rather than it being his actual name.
