what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

Most horrible meal I had was at Coral Reef. It was a scallop dish. I was so disappointed, I love seafood and was looking forward to Coral Reef. Our server was bad too, so by the time she finally offered to get me something else the rest of our party was ready to go.

We really disliked the Wishes Dessert Buffet! In fact, I have 3 son's who didn't like hardly anything on their plates...and when I have to spit out a dessert, there's something REALLY wrong. :scared1: The one that tasted like coffee grounds was the absolute WORST dessert (if you can call it that!) I've ever tasted in my life! YUCK!

Was it the tiramisu? Because tiramisu is supposed to taste like coffee. It is definitely an acquired taste.

I'm gonna have to say the Dole Whip. People on here made it sound like heaven in a cup. Well, that little peace of "heaven" went in the trash. Any counter service meal (especially the hamburgers). There was a brownie at a counter service place next to Small World. I'm not sure who decided that was a good idea. :scared1:

I've read enough to know not to eat pizza in the World.

I, as well threw mine in the trash. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't something I liked. It was too sweet and too much!

People I'm amazed if you have hardly had any bad food at WDW but I find it easier to name the good meals (there are hardly any!) There are so many icky ones, almost all the QS is cafeteria gross! The worst hand down was Sci Fi, ewwwwwwww

Duck meatballs at Le Cellier. I'm sure it was just a bad choice for me, but they were really gross.

Bacon at breakfast.

I don't know what it is, maybe the way the bacon is cured before baking or the way it is baked. But I find the bacon I've had anywhere in the US so far utterly inedible and tasteless, tastes more like dry cardboard than juicy pig.

The Cajun burger at POFQ. DH got food poisoning off of it in March. He said the shrimp tasted funny, but ate it anyways. :confused3

Pizza Planet pizza. It was bad back in 2007, worse now.

Brown Derby--wasn't into anything they made. Wasn't necessarily bad, just not for us.

It's a toss up between the Bianca flatbread at Tony's or the pizza from All Stars food court.

One thing I was really looking forward to were the cupcakes at Starring Rolls. I thought they were highly overrated...the frosting was hard & the cake was not moist. So disappointing!

this one is kinda worthy.

The apple sorbet at Tony's.

It's sour apple sorbet which is fine, but they dice up the apple peal and add it into the sorbet.

It's terribly hard to enjoy when you're constantly spitting out apple peal.

The texture of it was just so wrong

Dinner at Marrakesh...it was a plate of beige and was like eating sand...ick! Will NEVER eat there again and what's funny is that their CS place, Tangierine Cafe, is my fave CS. Another bad meal, the lobster at Cap-N-Jacks was disappointing...small and dry very much like Red Lobster....my DH liked it, but I don't care to go back there either.

No one has to worry about this any more since Spoodles isn't around anymore but the worst meal I ever had was there and it was a lemon garlic shrimp pasta dish. It was way too lemony with big chunks of the rind in it and it was gross.

i know we've all had some fabulous meals and menu items while at wdw but i recently had one of the worst appetizers i've ever had in my entire life and ugh ugh ugh it was at wdw. this was a cheddar bacon type soup (soup of the day on the menu) at the grand floridian cafe... if you closed your eyes you would think you were eating salty cheez whiz soup. so just curious... what and where was your worst?

Well I can't say I actually ate it, but we got dangerously undercooked chicken at Marrakesh a few years ago. The juice was all into my plate so I sent it back. When the food came back right it had none of the blend of spices the menu said it had. Also we had mussels that sat on the steam table too long at Crystal palace. They were cold. Again a potentially dangerous situation. So I had to waste a whole plate.
The buckwheat bread pudding at Boma had to be the worst thing I actually ate. OMG it was horrid. The vast majority of things have been fine, however.

Pizza, just pizza. Specifically the in-room delivery pizza at the All-Star hotels and the Pizza Planet pizza. It sucks because I love pizza, but I got sick after eating those two. Yuck!

The worst meal I ever ate at Disney was a chicken sandwich at Beaches & Cream. It tasted horrible. DDs grilled cheese from that same meal was absolutely disgusting looking, barely melted and cold (she ate it, but it was cheese after all and given that we'd waited almost two hours for the table, she was starving...I think she'd have eaten shoe leather at that point). The fruit served with all of our meals was so nasty I didn't even let the kids eat it.

Thank goodness for their sundaes and the No Way Jose I shared with my dad. At least those sort of saved the evening from being a total disaster!

I find Disney pizza disgusting in general. Recent exceptions to that would include the flat bread at Contempo Cafe and the pizza at Via Napoli. Both of those are vast improvements to any other pizza I've ever had in The World. I also think the Dole Whips are NASTY!!! Blegh!!!

The Thanksgiving meal (turkey, mashed potatoes, etc.) at Pepper Market at CSR. We heard good reviews about the restaurant, but would never recommend this meal. - Thanksgiving 2010.

Chicken Ceasar Wrap at Studio Catering in DHS. The chicken was soooo slimy I couldn't even eat more than a couple of bites & ended up tossing it. Second most disgusting was the Turkey Leg that so many love. Third worst was the mustard slathered Ham at Liberty Tree Tavern dinner.

Second most disgusting was the Turkey Leg that so many love.
Oh I agree, the smell alone just gags me!

I enjoy the Brown Derby but that chopped up signature cobb salad, it's like swill. I like each individual ingredient, just serve it with nice crisp leaf lettuce and I'm fine, it's textural thing.
