Good morning!

I hope everyone is staying safe. We're finally enjoying beautiful weather here in Georgia and our hearts go out to everyone who is still dealing with the relentless rains and flooding.

I am so pleasantly surprised!

Last time we had discussed it, DD (Tori) wasn't terribly enthusiastic about the Disney College Program anymore.

Yesterday afternoon, out of the blue, she texted that she was applying online for the CP!

This morning when I checked FB, she had sent me a message overnight that she has a phone interview with them!

I don't know how prepared she is for this interview, but I'm just happy that that little spark has been re-ignited!

We are on day #3 of rain in MA. No flooding in my area and I live on the side of a cliff so I am safe

2 weeks from now I will be leaving my family and taking my mother to AKV for her first stay on property and my first DVC stay at AKV (my home resort). The only other time my mom has gone was when I was 16 and we stayed at the Holiday Inn (ICK!!!). I am thinking she will love the pampering and spoiling that staying on property gives! I cannot wait!! My little cherubs have been horrible lately and driving me up a wall so sad to say I will love the break away and feel kinda bad for my DH having to watch them (Kinda....now he will know what my day is like everyday!!)

Just praying that I will be blessed with beautiful Florida sun!!!!

AND - I got some EXCITING news yesterday - As many of you know, BOTH of our sons are expecting - - my older son and dil found out yesterday they are having a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY - we are thrilled - we all were hoping for a boy!!!

Good Morning,

We are going to AKL in March. It will be our first time at AKL, and I'm pretty darn excited. I have always wanted to see the resort in person - however my DH loves FW because he can take his golf cart. Since this is a girls only trip . . .well. . .AKL here we come.

Tomorrow is my ADR date, and I wanted to try to schedule one meal around the storyteller. I have done searches hoping to figure out what time frame the storyteller is there. . .but haven't really found an answer. I found some posts that say 6:00 pm, others show 7:00 and 9:00. Does it vary by season? Are there more than one telling per night?

Thank you in advance for any information you are able to share. . ..

Good luck to Tori! My grandson had his phone interview yesterday! Now the waiting begins .... I guess in 1 to 4 weeks they'll be told if they were accepted. Since he was about 5 years old all he has ever wanted to do was a career with Disney. Part of his Make A Wish was a dinner with an imagineer ... what a wonderful experience for him. Again good luck to Tori.

Although it may vary slightly by season, in August African Folktales was at 6:15pm at the Arusha Rock Fire Pit (only once per night). I think the latest I have seen it start is 6:45pm.

Around 8pm is the Primal Parade where the kids parade around the lobby playing African instruments -- it's adorable!

Kidani has a Campfire at the Pembe Savanna Overlook from about 5-8pm. A guide is there to talk with guests about the animals, or their home country.

No trauma, just drama for me! LOL 2 teenagerd and a 5 yr old, dont know why!
